um i really do not understand this effect lol =/...

 

When you use it in a chain' date=' the card that it is chaining off of is now continues. the card is not destroyed and it will last forever. cool if you are chaining off yourself.

yeah um, i dont know anything about chains other then the fact that its when you activate more then one card at a time or someting lol =/

a chain is when more then 1 card is activated at once..which means what ever card u chained it too will stay on the field

a chain is when more then 1 card is activated at once..which means what ever card u chained it too will stay on the field

say i activate trap hole on a monster, then my opponent, as a chain, activates dust tornado. dust tornado stops the effect of trap hole, but I can the active ,ystical space typhoon and stop him/her tornado. if that happens, the result is that trap hole works, and the others are destroyed.

just adding to that u wouldn't really need mystical space typhoon cause dust tornado doesn't negate it

6/10... I don't think normal traps were built for this kinda thing... example: Sakuretsu Armor

Activate only when your opponent declares an attack. Destroy the attacking monster. well' date=' if it's continuous it won't do anything because it's already "activated" so the effect cancels(?)

well since its still on the field i think it will still have the effect activated..this would make an awsome combo with magic cylinder

Nope, it's really broken.

 

Say you used it on your Torrential Tribute. Torrential Tribute would then activate when someone plays a monster, so no one would be able to summon.

 

Then take Dust Tornado. You'd be able to constantly destroy Spell and Traps as soon as your opponent set them.

 

With Gift Card, you could end your opponent in one turn if you have Bad Reaction to Simochi active.

 

With Windstorm of Etaqua, you can constantly change your opponent's battle positions when you wanted to.

 

Whoever said that stuff about activating, most continuous cards have trigger effects, so it would constantly trigger on each attack with Sakuretsu Armor, making it virtually impossible to attack with someone who isn't immune to Traps.

 

Oh, and whoever said it, Dust Tornado and Mystical Space Typhoon don't negate the effects of cards, they just destroy them.

A card's effect can only be negated if the effect says "negate the activation and effect of the card and destroy it", or something along those lines.

 

Sorry, but 4/10. It would be banned in a split second, but I personally like it.

yeah thats y i said it would be overpowered when played with the right cards..it would be even stronger with magic cylinder...but i don't think it would be banned cause its kinda situational

 

and it would easy be destroyed by spell and trap removal like heavy storm and mystical space typhoon cause its a continuous traps

Yes, but Dust Tornadoes didn't stop Imperial Order from being banned.

You're most likely not even gonna have something to stop it when your opponent activates it at first.

It would be a real stretch to not ban this card. I mean, people would just abuse it, especially with Jar of Greed.

I know I would use it with Covering Fire. Then the duel would be over as soon as you attacked. XP

The card isn't really cheap. It turns the card into a continuous trap, doesn't mean it effect is continuous. Use it on a Magic Cylinder, it stays on the field, but doesn't do anything. Its effect is still one time only, and it won't happen at every battle, just the first one when it was activated. This card makes it so your opponent has a magic/trap card zone filled up and they can't fix it without having to use some card. This though could also be used for yourself, like if you needed to have 3 continuous traps on the field for whatever reason.

 

I like that it wastes one of their spaces, but heavy storm is an easy way to get rid of it. I could see it being nice, but not really a staple or anything, so I don't think I'd use it. 7/10.
