Aeris Animus - Spirits of the Sky (PG-13yness)

(So I found this awesome artist - Glen Angus. He's apparently fond of personifying WWII planes. He's also dead as of 2007, which is a real shame, because his art is amazing.

Anyway, I saw them and I was immediately inspired.

The Monster Cards are all his artwork; the Spell Card is a tribute to him from someone else, so appropriately it's Support.)

The spirits are ancient, but they are not static. They change and grow, a personification of life and the world. As life changes, the spirits take on new forms. Here, they are brought to life by the imagination and spirit of Man, in their deadliest displays of air superiority.

Behold, the Aeris Anima!

When this card is Summoned, add one "Bombshell" from your Deck to your hand. This card cannot be targeted while you control an "Aeris Animus" monster with a different name. This card cannot be Special Summoned. If this card is sent to the Graveyard except from the field, remove it from play. While this card is in your Graveyard, during your Draw Phase, you may skip your normal draw to add 1 "Aeris Animus" monster from your Deck to your hand. When your opponent declares a direct attack on your Life Points, remove this card in your Graveyard from play and return the attacking monster to its owner's hand.

You can remove 1 Machine-Type monster you control from play to Special Summon this card from your hand. This card's Type is also treated as Fairy. If you control a Machine-Type monster during your Standby Phase, you can remove 1 Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. Each time an "Aeris Animus" monster declares an attack, place a "Momentum Counter" on this card. During your turn, Increase the ATK of all Machine-Type monsters by 200 for each Momentum Counter on it. This card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly.

When an "Aeris Animus" monster inflicts Battle Damage, you may return any number of "Aeris Animus" cards to your hand to activate this card. Destroy a number of cards your opponent controls equal to the number of monsters returned. It is now the End Phase of this turn.

Yeah, they aren't very anime-styled, so they clash a bit with the cards. Then again, I hear some people complain about anime-style pics all the time, so maybe this is a welcome change. I'll only continue the set if I find more good pics that fit the style, since this is a tribute, after all.

It's also worth mentioning to those looking for his work, most of it is safe for work, but some of it isn't. Needless to say I won't be using said work in this set.
