What do you do when you see someone failing at life? Whether it be a small phase of something very intimate and serious? How do you feel? React? Do you help them out of sincerity or profit? Do you not get involved out of fear or, possibly anger? How exactly do you go about it when you yourself feel down?

Discuss seriously please or be reported.

Well, firsly, how do you "fail" at life? You can't. Rough times can come through your life and you may not be the most successfuly person and you may even be homeless without a job, but that doesn't make you "fail" at life. Life is no video game, unless you think God is the player while we're being played. But that's only how I feel, I know where you're trying to go with that question and I'll just answer it to your statement.

When someone "fails" at life, you help them of course. I get involved and put my life on the edge for others because I feel my life is just a supporter. I'll help in any ways I can, and I may even "fail" at doing so. I've tried to help the closest person to me; she was abused by her parents and bullied by those at school. Her life was like one of those horrible fictional things you wouldn't feel is real. She herself didn't "fail", but she did "fail" at getting things back together. She let those bully her and she wouldn't report her parents at all. In the end, she committed suicide and supposidly "failed" at life just like I "failed" to help her.

Serious answer is very serious.

You didn't fail her. This is what she wanted, right? Please don't be in such pain about it. You even said yourself, "I'll get over it once she's just a memory." Isn't that this time?

Anyways, I get involved with someone's life because I feel worry over them, if they are close to me. I'll admit I won't help out a stranger because I don't know his/her life story and it'd be tough to help out, but I'll do my best to the people I know.

@Marisa- I didn't mean 'fail' like you're implying. You're being way too technical. lt's a simple question with no profound answer buried into it.

@Willeh- So then' date=' what do you do?

[/quote']

I don't do anything.

What am I supposed to do?

What are you NOT supposed to do? l mean, you're living and breathing and perfectly capable of strength and thought, are you not?
