thefruitsong
One of my first ideas for a card. It's meant to even the playing field if one is in a tight spot. However, it's a double edged sword. Say I have 700 hundred life points, and my opponent has 300. My life points would drop to 500, and the opponents would raise to 500. Edited. Now requires two ligt attributed monsters to summon.
Takomi
Make the wording more neutral. It's a great effect, but it needs a drawback to justify its attack points.
thefruitsong
What kind of Drawback would you suggest? I don't want to have an over powered card!
Rusty Shovel
...it has no type... OCG is FAIL, pic is blurry, effect is OP'ed. -2/10 (sorry)
thefruitsong
-shrug- Oh well. I created it to have it tweaked.
Rusty Shovel
OCG: When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle or as a tribute, ... Damn I don't know how to word that, seems almost impossible to word.... xD Lower the attack and defense a TON, specially with an effect like that. Give it some kind of drawback too. -Rusty
thefruitsong
Sorry.... i'm editing it right now. Any suggestions to water it down so it's not so over powered? i'm thinking about it being unable to be summoned unless two light monsters are sacrificed and the the whoe Shrine team is on the field, and taking away its attack points... Although I'm not sure how to help the pic...
Rusty Shovel
Just get a different pic. Maybe make it so if your Opponents life points are higher than yours by under 1000 (difference) increase yours so there the same? I don't know. -Rusty
bakupenguin
maybe change its effect to this: While this card is on the field, if it is destroyed or tributed, even out the players life points. ATK 1500 DEF2000
Rusty Shovel
While this card is on the field' date=' if it is destroyed or tributed, even out the players life points. ATK 1500 DEF2000[/quote'] Even them out? That makes little sense.
thefruitsong
How does this sound? To Summon, sacrifice two Light attributed monsters, and have the complete set of Shrine Guardians set up on the field. Once this monster leaves the field and is sent to the graveyard, it evens out the lifepoints between the players, if there is under a 900 difference between both players. thefruitsong
Okay, I think I fixed her quite a bit. To Summon, sacrifice two Light attributed monsters, and have the complete set of Shrine Guardians set up on the field. Once this monster leaves the field and is sent to the graveyard, it evens out the lifepoints between the players, if there is under a 900 difference between both players. 0 attack points, 100 defense points. Needed combo and monsters.
Rusty Shovel
This card can only be Summoned by tributing 2 LIGHT monsters you control while _______,______,______,_________ are face-up on your side of the field. When this monster is sent to the Graveyard , If there is a difference of 900 or less between you and your Opponents Life Points activate the following effect: The player with less Life Points increases their Life Points so they have the same Life Points as the player with more. I don't know if thats right, but seems a lot better. -Rusty
thefruitsong
Yes, the same point and better worded. Thanks. I'm not good at explaining things. I'm thinking about designing the rest of the shrine team, but it'll take time.
