Fake Types - What's your opinion?

There are two or three fake types that are actually viable.

 

The other 10,000 fake types are stupid because of lack of creativity, the fact that they are covered by another type, or the fact that they are simply stupid.

 

But I'm all for fake types in a section other than Realistic. Unless that's already a rule.

The FK is a group of people who enjoy working with and creating Fake-Types. We are people who won't rate down or vote against a card just becuase its a Fake-Type. We do wish for them to be treated fairly when compared to Real-Types BUT that doesn't mean we want them to be in the realistic section like you guys think we do. Realistic is realistic because it is suppopsed to closly resemble TCG cards. We are more concerned with AoC and Contests section. People will' date=' for example, go into a 1v1 contest. There is a Real-Type and a Fake-Type. The Fake-Type has perfect OCG, an excellent Picture, and the effect is well balanced. The Real-Type has sloppy OCG, a Picture with no Background and an effect that is extremly overpowered. People will vote for the Real-Type simply because the other is a Fake-Type.

The FK was created to put an end to this, and honestly this isn't about the FK club, its about Fake-Types. No one ever asked you to judge us or the Fake-Types so why do you?

Basically that's 10% in a purposeless club spam hole like ours, it should be beyond easy.

I see a few possible solutions. I'll post them and get the fux out.

 

1.) A rule is made that all cards that are not actual TCG types (with the exception of Japanese counterparts of American types) should not be posted in Realistic, and doing so will lead to some kind of punishment. Thus, the cards are placed where they rightfully belong, and no one can argue about Fake Types any longer. To me, this seems to be the best decision, as it requires little effort other than a mod making a thread.

 

The only problem is, people are idiots. So when Fake Types come back to Realistic, it's going to be a pain in the ass to get the morons out, and put everything in Any Other cards. This problem occurs because of idiocy and failure to read a thread labeled "GET YOUR FAKE TYPES OUT OF HERE." Actually, now that I ponder about it, maybe some idiots don't realize their card is a fake type.

 

2.) A new section is made labeled "Fake Typed Cards", or something along those lines. Similar to the first solution, although this requires more effort. The benefit, however, is that while most people are too stupid to read a thread, some of those people aren't so stupid to miss a forum title. I cannot guarantee that idiots won't come to Realistic with their fake typed cards, but it's an extra measure.

 

3.) Fake types are banned from Custom Cards, and any discussion about this rule is prohibited. Fake types are still allowed to be posted in clubs, such as the Fake Type Guardians or some shiz. This is the most extreme rule, but mods can go power-crazy (good, in this case) and get harsh warnings to all the idiots who even dare to step foot in CC with their... irregular cards. But, like this thread, more idiots will make discussions and the rule will probably be overturned.

 

In solutions 1 and 2, all clubs involving Fake Types should be closed, while in solution 3, they should be opened, but greatly monitored. Seriously, some of these Fake Type clubs are spammy, and don't talk about Fake Types that much.
