Markbo32
I was wondering what are the most extreme effects that could still be balanced enough to be realistic. like the thousand eyes restrict, or exodia necross. cards which either have both beneficial and negative effects on the user, or have high summoning cost, or are just really difficult to summon. i just wanted to see what people would come up with.i'm really new here but here is my first card:lore:This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by tributing 1 "relinquished" or 1 "thousand eyes restrict". This card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card is summoned remove both players' decks and graveyard from play, then shuffle all remaining cards on the field to their respective decks. Once per turn, each player may pay 500 life points to shuffle one removed from play card into their deck. im not sure just how realistic this is, but ran out of space to put in higher cost to the user. maybe it should only be possible to summon while your opponent has a certain amount more life points than you? any comments appreciated
Twenty-five Zero Oh-oh
OCG fix: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing 1 "Relinquished" or 1 "Thousand-eyes Restrict". This card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card is Summoned, remove all cards in both players' decks and Graveyards from play. Then shuffle all cards on the field to their respective owners' decks. Once per turn, either player can pay 500 Life Points to shuffle one card that has been removed from play into their deck. I like it but I'm not sure it's very useful with only 0 ATK and DEF since it has no equipping ability.
Markbo32
true, but if you summon it at the right time, your opponent may only have a few, not useful cards in his/her deck. and can only bring back 1 card per turn. if it had ATK/DEF, it would immediately be able to attack your opponent directly... maybe a bit too strong.good point though... maybe more useful to just keep your thousand eyes restrict. Twenty-five Zero Oh-oh
Hmm. I see. This card is somewhat situational but if used with good timing it could be good. Actually I just realized this card is really broken cuz your opponent can't attack this card. If he does, he won't be able to return any of his removed cards. lol
usetheforcehan
Interesting card effect. The ability to limit the deck and force both player to do the carefully-planning slow-duel (anti-rush). But i think the summoning cost is to high. I don't think most player will put this card on his/her deck. 8/10.

Markbo32
Yeah, i thought so too. requires really careful planning really. kinda like last turn situation. here's another: This card can only be summoned by tributing 3 monsters. When this card is summoned, pay up to 5000 life points (in multiples of 100) this cards original attack becomes that amount. Once per turn you may have this card loose any amount of ATK (in multiples of 100) and summon 1 "Leigon token" (lv 1, ATK/?, DEF/0) with attack equal to the ATK points lost. You can sacrifice this token to have this card gain ATK equal to the token's original attack.

And if you could actually manage to summon it again, it would just repeat the process. This quirk makes its second effect rather useless, since it won't be around to ever use it. I'm not sure if reworking the effect to make it stick around is the right way to go either, because theoretically you could pull off all the summoning requirements on turn 1, put 1 card in your deck via its effect, and have your opponent auto-lose because there are no cards in their deck to draw.
