contest: best spellcaster deck you can make.

there are only a few rules.

 

1) no lightsworn in the deck: I don't need cheep ass broken JD in my spellcaster contest. 1 exception, lyla can come to play, if you really need it. (you better not be using it over breaker in a spell counter deck.)

 

2) at least 16 of the monsters must be casters, if you want to have non-casters, you must fill these 16 slots first.

 

3) you must include a short playbook stating your planned win condition and the basic setup to get there. (the actual play that makes it happen basicly.)

 

winner gets 500 points and top 3 each get a rep.

And does that mean 16 monsters in the main deck must be spellcasters or does that include the Extra Deck as well?

 

both together, I left it that way for people to be clever.

 

but if you really need 13 non casters in the deck, it really isn't much of a spellcaster deck is it?

just to say, you have 19 casters, meaning if you wanted to, you could take out 3 and add in honest.

 

and if you read the whole thread, arcanite and tempest and exploder count for the 16.

This deck only has 11 Casters (16 if Extra is included) but you will run into inconsistencies with too many more than that...

 

The whole point of the deck is to get out Village and Decree while having Arcanite control your opponents field with the counters from Exemplar. This deck has proven itself many times over so I couldn't help but post it.

Added an extra.

 

Honests don't help the deck because it's a fairy and screws up solidarity. Plague doesn't screw it up however because it's own effect removes it from play.

Do i need to explain how a FL deck works? rly >.>

How to win: get Future Visions in your hand fast as humanly possible even if u need to Gold Sarc into Terraphorming, do it. Future Visions provides speed for your deck while slowing down the opponent, this will cause u to also get FL Lighty in your hand as fast as possible. So the 2 key cards are Future Visions and Lighty. FLs also have amazing Speed thanks to their +1 cards aka Watery and Fortune Future allowing you to move quickly through your deck, so you can drop your Chaos Sorc and DAD for maximum damage early in the game.

 

If the FL engine doesnt take off in 1 or 2 turns do not fret, Kycoo, Catoblepas, and Valley will help suppress your opponent's Special Summons and attacks.

 

tl;dr version: Swarm and Field Control while drawing like a mad man

Thought this up as I was coursing through this very thread. Basically Spellcaster burn, with Rapid-Fire and lots of Normal Spells. Thinking of turning this into a lockdown-ish build with Village and Decree to ensure I could burn through.

The main Idea is to get Village,Skill Drain, and atleast 1 spellcaster to make the lock.

all the removals and Honest are for protection of your spellcasters so the lock will continue.

As you can see, it's a basic Endymion/Spell Counter Deck. Spell Power Grasp is the main card used to generate spell counters to power various monster effects. After using your monster effect, run your opponent over with beatsicks like Kycoo, Breaker, Cruasder, ect. Frequency, Gale, and PSZ have been included for synchro summoning as well. The Extra Deck is pretty generic, but leans more towards spellcasters.

Summon LaDD. When he dies, bring back Herald of Creation. Hopefully Treeborn Frog comes back in the standby phase. Use Herald of Creation to recycle LaDD.
