werewolfjedi
there are only a few rules. 1) no lightsworn in the deck: I don't need cheep ass broken JD in my spellcaster contest. 1 exception, lyla can come to play, if you really need it. (you better not be using it over breaker in a spell counter deck.) 2) at least 16 of the monsters must be casters, if you want to have non-casters, you must fill these 16 slots first. 3) you must include a short playbook stating your planned win condition and the basic setup to get there. (the actual play that makes it happen basicly.) winner gets 500 points and top 3 each get a rep. I'm taking the first 10. 1> jabber 2033 accepted.2> Absolute zero accepted.3> Fraz deck accepted.4> father wolf accepted.5> lord dmoc accepted.6> zelda's accepted.7>tabris accepted.8> Mr. ace accepted.9> Genzo accepted.android's accepted.ends in 2 weeks. jabber2033
Can I reserve? And does that mean 16 monsters in the main deck must be spellcasters or does that include the Extra Deck as well?
werewolfjedi
Can I reserve? And does that mean 16 monsters in the main deck must be spellcasters or does that include the Extra Deck as well? both together, I left it that way for people to be clever. but if you really need 13 non casters in the deck, it really isn't much of a spellcaster deck is it? also, reserved

Fraz
Added an extra. Honests don't help the deck because it's a fairy and screws up solidarity. Plague doesn't screw it up however because it's own effect removes it from play.

Future Visions provides speed for your deck while slowing down the opponent, this will cause u to also get FL Lighty in your hand as fast as possible. So the 2 key cards are Future Visions and Lighty. FLs also have amazing Speed thanks to their +1 cards aka Watery and Fortune Future allowing you to move quickly through your deck, so you can drop your Chaos Sorc and DAD for maximum damage early in the game. If the FL engine doesnt take off in 1 or 2 turns do not fret, Kycoo, Catoblepas, and Valley will help suppress your opponent's Special Summons and attacks. tl;dr version: Swarm and Field Control while drawing like a mad man

Tabris
The Will wills in. An incomplete deck as it is, however, since I'm lookin' fer more compatible cards. Monsters: 183 Skilled Dark Magician3 Rapid-Fire Magician2 Breaker the Magical Warrior2 Old Vindictive Magician2 Apprentice Magician2 Crystal Seer1 Dark Eradicator Warlock1 Toon Cannon Soldier1 Dark Magician1 Morphing Jar Spells: 183 Nightmare's Steelcage3 Toon Table of Contents3 Fissure2 Allure of Darkness2 Gold Sarcophagus1 Swords of Revealing Light1 Smashing Ground1 Giant Trunade1 Brain Control1 Heavy Storm Traps: 43 Royal Oppression1 Mirror Force Thought this up as I was coursing through this very thread. Basically Spellcaster burn, with Rapid-Fire and lots of Normal Spells. Thinking of turning this into a lockdown-ish build with Village and Decree to ensure I could burn through. -Doodle
The main Idea is to get Village,Skill Drain, and atleast 1 spellcaster to make the lock.all the removals and Honest are for protection of your spellcasters so the lock will continue.Monsters:3 Crusader of Endymion [spellcaster,LIGHT,beatstick, affect on breaker and defender]3 Herald of Creation [spellcaster,LIGHT,beatstick]2 Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress [spellcaster,LIGHT,beatstic, use effect to destroy your opponent's s\t you need to]2 Thunder King Rai-Oh [LIGHT,beatstick, negates special, and the adding cards to hand part]3 Honest [the main "defense" in this deck]3 Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer [spellcaster, beatstick, use effect to negate stuff like N gardna,DAD,Chaos Sorc. etc, grave destrucction]2 Breaker the Magical Warrior [spellcaster,s\t destroyer if needed]2 Defender, The Magical Knight [spellcaster,LIGHT,negates a destruction] Spells:3 Secret Village of the Spellcasters [deck's key card, negates spells]1 Terraforming [sVotS searcher]2 Shrink [comes handy agains opponent's big monsters]2 Book of Moon [Good to negate an attack, before a obvious synchro summon, negates effect, and if your opponents have a low def monster]2 Burden of the Mighty [weakung opponent's monsters]1 Brain Control [take a big monster, can have a good use if your opponent have a single monster and you'r about to win] Traps:3 Skill Drain [main key card of the deck, negates effects]1 Solemn Judgment [to counter a counter or to counter a card the prevents you from winning or w\e]2 Dark Bribe [see:solemn]2 Bottomless Trap Hole [agains opponent's big monsters]1 Beckoning Light [honest recycler mostly, but can recycle spellcasters if you dont have any with the field]1 Call Of The Haunted [generetic revivaler] EXTRA DECK:2 Explosive Magician2 Arcanite Magician2 Tempest Magician1 Goyo Guardian2 Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth3 Stardust Dragon1 Red Dragon Archfiend2 Avenging Knight Parshath playbook is in the deck, and about the extra is just for case you get a Tuner with B-Con

Spell Power Grasp is the main card used to generate spell counters to power various monster effects. After using your monster effect, run your opponent over with beatsicks like Kycoo, Breaker, Cruasder, ect. Frequency, Gale, and PSZ have been included for synchro summoning as well. The Extra Deck is pretty generic, but leans more towards spellcasters.

werewolfjedi
ok then, MR. ace and Genzo are accepted. android I'm not too sure about,it focuses on LADD, not the spellcasters, and on top of that, doesn't treeborn frog kill LADD every standby phase if you don't have a spell or trap on the field? I don't think I can accept that.

werewolfjedi
Treeborn doesn't have to activate if you don't want it to. it still focuses on LADD, and not the casters. you could replace all the casters but hearld and you wouldn't change the deck's intent at all.
