zelda_tp_fan
I don't think I like Cold Wave here... I might give it a try though. Typo... Negging Mirror could work... I will test.
Akira
I think I prefer this build overall with the Spy/Guard engine also providing an option of Arcanite. Think it would be worth running Return?
Tronta
1 DAD3 Caius3 Raiza2 Sorcerer2 Alchemist looks like 11!/6!(5!) dead draws. (if i can do my math right. not a guarantee)lower fat person count to raise consistency.

Think it would be worth running Return? I don't think return will really help since I have nothing in terms of effects when they come back. 1 DAD3 Caius3 Raiza2 Sorcerer2 Alchemist looks like 11!/6!(5!) dead draws. (if i can do my math right. not a guarantee)lower fat person count to raise consistency. Alchemist is level 4...-_- I have no problem keeping up tributes... I just wish I could make this a bit faster or something... I have also been considering a third Spy since it is beastly here and maybe a third BoM to abuse Spys and disrupt synchoing. Tronta
alchemist is 4? oh...i was thinking of that other guy.. d.d. master or something.i rescind my argument. 9 fatties isnt too terrible.

With 2 Soul Exchange it works quite well. Besides, 3 of them can be SS.
Tronta
well derp, but i was thinking the alchemists were level 5, which would make a lot of dead draw hands and bad top decks if you only get the fat people.the rest of the deck likes them, but they dont like the rest of the deck.well, chaos and dad like the rest of the deck. Tronta
monarch decks arent the most synergistic deck. this is because most of the cards in the deck like the monarchs, but the monarchs dislike the rest of the deck. granted theyre still a solid deck.to rephrase that, cards like treeborn, cydra, etc work directly for the monarch cards, supporting them, however the monarchs themselves dont give anything back to the deck. they contribute to overall advantage and damage dealt, obviously, but theyre parasitic in nature, feeding off the other cards while being incapable on their own. dad and chaos can be considered friendly because they only use dead monsters, and they work for themselves more. a clearer example can be seen if you compare lightsworns to arcana force. ls really funking love each other. lumina loves everyone, wulf is loved by everyone, jd is self sufficient (feeding off no one other than the dead, and requiring no sacrifice of hand or field presence to summon), honest loves everyone, etc. arcana force barely care about each other. they hardly work with each other, and their boss monsters are utterly indifferent to them. for those of you paying attention, i just listed honest as a lightsworn. zelda_tp_fan
Ah... I see what you are saying... But since they are the main focus of the deck, they are suppose to feed off of it while the rest of the deck gives them it's surplus.
Tronta
well yes, which is why you need to balance parasites and prey so you dont have a bunch of fatasses who arent good for anything on their own clogging your hand.

Tronta
we're going in circles. you asked me to clarify what i said regarding the dynamic of the deck. i said what i said based on the idea that there were more fat guys than there really is.the deck is fine as it is, in terms of fat to non-fat ratio.
