My rant on all you fake type haters

to start off on my rant I would like to say

why should we not have fake types I mean if we weren't supposed to why let us type in the type in the box

 

secondly I agree some fake types are absurd as there is little to no difference between them and a real type

 

I think you shouldnt just look at a card and say 'OMG fake type auto suckish" just look at Deustodo's thread it is literally made of fake types. All of them

now here are reasonable guidelines for fake types

A fake type that fits into the category of a real type (Ex. wolf=beast) you can rant on that sure. but if the type is actually outside of the real types it should be accepted

(such as how Mad Puppet [Deustodo's Fake type that got stuck] would not fit under anything

a better example would be (gotta think about this a little more currently brain dead) for the moment Infected)

on a note I forgot to mention a single card posessing a fake type would be dumb

multiple cards with a good solid fake type would be most realistic

 

If you guys have a valid reason to not accept fake types please share it

if you want to spam, flame etc. well then GTFO i dont wanna hear it

It would take up much more space on this site to make a selection for each type.

Agreed. But even all the fake types any member of the FK has suggested that doesn't fit into any type has been told which type it can fit into. The FK are just too stubborn to accept defeat.

This has already been pointed out that it can fit into several different types by several different members. This point of your arugement is invalid.

Fake types are only useful if you're actually going to use them for a set of cards.

 

If you just have a fake type for the sake of having a fake type, then it's just stupid.

That's just lazy. Put some thought into it and put them into their appropriate type and just make it an archetype.

I've neg repped a few peoples that have posted their fake types in the realistic section. One was a member of the FK.

As long as you don't post them in Realistic, you're good.

 

But you should be able to take criticism. On the flipside, however, a fake type doesn't automatically make the card suckish. As long as it has a good picture, effect, et cetera, it's still a good card.
