Guest Welche
Well, I just had the idea for a new archetype- "Allusion". They are monsters that act just like allusions. They negate an attack and inflict damage to your opponent. Then they disappear. When this card is attacked, negate the attack and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the ATK of the monster that attacked this card. This card is destroyed during the End Phase of a turn this card is attacked. This card does not inflict battle damage. When this card is Normal Summoned you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon as many "Allusion Leech"'s from your Deck. credit to HP Doomcredit to HP Doom This card cannot be Summoned from your hand except by releasing two "Allusion" monsters from your side of the field. This card cannot be attacked while there is a Face-up "Allusion" monster other then this card. While this card is Face-Up, Allusion monsters cannot be destroyed by their own effect. credit to ~Namo~ When this card is attacked, negate the attack and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the ATK of the monster that attacked this card. This card is destroyed during the End Phase of a turn this card is attacked. This card does not inflict battle damage. When this card is destroyed you can Special Summon 1 "Allusion" monster from your Graveyard. This Summon is treated as the type of Summon of your choice. credit to Unforgiven Soul Activate only when your opponent draws a card(s) due to card effect. Draw 1 card and both players can Special Summon 1 monster from their Graveyard with 0 ATK and 0 DEF. The Special Summoned monsters cannot attack and cannot be used in a Tribute Summon. credit to Wanderley
ragnarok1945
not the first time I've seen the pic "This card is destroyed during the End Phase of a turn this card is attack" change attack to attacked If this card attacks your opponent loses no Life Points. <---Basically you mean This card does not inflict battle damage, so you can just say that instead 8/

Aero~
you mean illusions? 9.5/10 ocg needs minor work at very end.
ragnarok1945
no problem, then now I'll raise my rate to 8.9/
Guest Welche
I think Allusion sounds nicer. Illusion is too common.
Lord Smeagle
I think Allusion sounds nicer. Illusion is too common. I feel what you're saying, but I don't think that word means what you think it means. An "Allusion Set" sounds like a bunch of random Pop Culture cards, not anything like monsters that "don't really exist." Maybe a name like "Phantasm" or "Ephemera," if that sounds more interesting than "Illusion."
Guest Welche
Allusion means that I am referring to the past (or something like that). So it has a similar meaning to illusion. I might change it, but I like the name for now.

ragnarok1945
it's a nice way to support your allusion monsters via that trap little basic on the effect, but it works out 8.9/
