Seth MacFarlane. The guy has NO talent. He has created 3 animated TV series which are... pretty much exactly the same. And, dare I say it, the original was pretty much a rip-off of The Simpsons with an array of spontaneous, unnecessary jokes splattered throughout the very poorly written plot.

 

Okay, let's look at Seth McFarlane's cartoons.

 

Family Guy:

Peter- Idiot

Lois- Voice of Reason (Originally Brian was the voice of reason, but now Brian's only purpose on the show is to express MacFarlane's liberal agenda.)

Chris- Just like his father.

Meg- Social Outcast

 

American Dad:

Stan- Idiot.

Francine- Lois with blonde hair.

Steve- Tries to be like his dad.

Hayley- Social outcast/hippie douche.

 

The Cleveland Show:

The same exact thing as family guy, except everyone's black; so Seth gets to use some "racial" humor (which is usually unfunny.)

 

Now, this wouldn't piss me off usually. But this douchebag has 3 slots for the SAME EXACT TV SHOW WITH DIFFERENT CHARACTERS. He has 3 slots on Fox for the SAME EXACT TV SHOW WITH DIFFERENT CHARACTERS. HE HAS 3 SLOTS FOR THE SAME EXACT TV SHOW WITH DIFFERENT CHARACTERS.

 

Seriously. What the funk?

 

How incredibly stupid is America? Are we REALLY this dumb??? REALLY?

 

This thread is here for you to discuss how Mike Judge is infinitely more talented than Seth MacFarlane will ever be.

I like(d) Family Guy, but I refuse to watch the other series' which are pretty much worse versions of them, and as you stated, the same thing. This guy makes so much funking money from these series', and gets slots on major channels for making it. The humour is usually not even that funny too, and it makes someone that writes REAL shows sick.

For all you people living in America, or currently visiting using a computer with a US IP, visit Hulu if you're curious. It has all the episodes, is sponsored by the companies etc. (Which is why it's only available in the US). Just a heads up if you want an actual opinion.

 

I dont like American Dad, except for that one apocalypse episode. Cleveland Show is alright, not the best. And I prefer Family Guy over the Simpsons as I love random wtf comedy.

Seriously.

 

Every episode follows the same general theme. It's just that they have new jokes for each episode.

 

Really, I wouldn't mind Seth MacFarlane if it was just like... Peter doing standup for the whole show. Because that's all Family Guy/The Cleveland Show/American Dad is...

But seriously, most of the people who watch it like it because they're as stupid as the characters in the show.

 

I watch it because I enjoy watching stupid people. It amuses me.

Honestly, the jokes in family guy are much more than the whole flashback things; there are jokes used in their from other media; ie: joes walking on air episode. The good morning song is mocking an old marine movie if Im not mistaken.

 

Little jokes like these; frankly its all going down the drain, tv sucks, news is depressing, welcome to life. Full of let downs.
