If a self-sufficient France would still have been dragged into WWII' date=' why on earth would you think that a self-sufficient America would be magically immune to wars? Is your opinion of your nation so inflated that you feel it defies such precedent?

1. I don't live in America nor do I have any relatives there.

Wow, that means you're getting blindly patriotic about a country that isn't in any way yours. That's even more pathetic.

2. In World War 2' date=' America suffered 0 CIVILIAN LOSSES.

Ah, I forgot I was communicating with YCM through a portal to an alternate universe. See, in my universe, there was a little thing called the attack on Pearl Harbor, which meant that the U.S. had suffered 57 civilian losses before it even did anything - and that number continued to increase throughout the war to a total of about 1700. In your universe, I guess Pearl Harbor never happened. And, in fact, none of the other civilian deaths happened either, so I guess your universe didn't even include World War II.

And actually' date=' no one ever declared war to it (they just defended).

[/quote']

Wow. Apparently, in your universe, World War II did not actually involve Japan, Germany, or Italy. See, in my universe, Japan attacked the U.S. before even formally declaring war - again, Pearl Harbor - and when the U.S. responded by declaring war on Japan, Japan's allies Germany and Italy declared war on the U.S.. I can sort of understand why you would think that the U.S. would be immune to being attacked, since your version of history seems to exclude the entire Axis Powers.

So why do you believe it wouldn't be immune?

Given that the U.S.' date=' in one specific conflict in the past, neither was attacked nor suffered civilian casualties - except it [i']was[/i] attacked and did suffer civilian casualties - why would I think that this specific economic restructuring might just possibly not make it completely physically impossible for anyone to ever attack the U.S.? I really can't imagine.

Subtext hint: Whenever I talk about alternate universe versions of history and stuff, I'm actually calling you a flaming idiot for being so absurdly ignorant regarding the second world war and yet so confident in your flagrant misconceptions.
