No Way Out! (A PERMANENT REMOVED FROM PLAY)

Not sure about the legality of this mechanic but here goes.

Once a Normal or Effect monster is put into the Extra Deck, there will be no way to rescue or retrieve it because there will be no condition that would allow you to draw that card from that Deck, so the card would be stuck or permanently removed from play for the rest of the duel.

Why not like this:

"When this card is activated, target 1 card. That card is permanently remove from play."

Or we invent a new OCGs word like: Permanent Remove. Then the lore will become:

"When this card is activated, target 1 card. Permanent Remove that card."

Interesting idea. But NO.

If this idea is really implemented to Yugioh rules, then next time other people will create something like "Permanent Permanent Remove", etc.

When I did this a week or so ago, I just made a new zone to put them in. Zone X. When something is sent to Zone X, it don't come back. Even the Zone X-based archtype can't summon from there.

But the card posted here feels OP'd, since it's instant super-removal of any card you choose for no cost.

There is no Permanently Removed From Play in OCG. The OCG I used is stating that result, using proper OCG so there is no need for fixes. But thanks anyways.

As for the effect can you imagine the look on your opponent's face when you get rid of there only Dark Armed Dragon. They would be like oh crap, I can't bring him back either. My Deck was based around him, what the heck am I going to do now?

The cost of this card would be in that it would be treated as "Limited" because of its staple-ness. Just think how this card would reignite duels. Everyone would be on there tippy toes wondering if there opponent is getting ready to use this card. It would create so much cautious play among many duels.

short but very practical effect

nice way to force specific synchros down' date=' I like it

8.8/10

I see your point, but I wouldn't recommend using this card to take out a Tuner just to prevent your opponent from Synchro Summoning a Synchro, because there would be a good chance your opponent could have multiples of that Tuner anyways which would waste this card. I would recommend saving this card in your hand until your opponent plays there trump card. Basically this card trumps your opponent's trump card.

You forget. There's more noobs in on the Metagame than you think. People could have their trumps as Synchros or Fusions and that would make this card worth nothing. ;D

Yeah, I'm not even gonna bother rating this until a drawback is added. You basically permaban a monster from the game and it costs you nothing to do so. /:

Did I? I didn't want this card to affect such a large base. The fact that this card doesn't affect Fusion or Synchros shows this card has its limits of how or what to use it on. The range of this card with the point you made shows this card is balanced in what you can use it to accomplish.

[b']-Well this would be a 1 card per deck only thing.

-This card only affects 1 monster and that's it.

I guess that might not be enough of a balance, I'm open to suggestion on what the cost should be, it might change the above as well.[/b]
