sektorki Posted January 18, 2010 Report Share Posted January 18, 2010 I love Volcanics, they are awesome, but konami dont think the same, they are lost in the many archetypes that they released. and the worst part they dont like to support pyro´s by themselves. Well here we are going to change that, please take a look, rate, fix, anything. MONSTERS Volcanic BlastlordFIRELevel: 7[Pyro/Effect]You cant Normal Summon this Card. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 3 Pyro-Type monster in the Graveyard. Once per turn you can inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of "Volcanic" monsters removed from play x 500.If you activate this effect, this card cannot attack during this turn. ATK/ 2700DEF/ 2400 Artwork idea: some sort of a mix of a big sauropod body and a allonsaurus head with the designs and facial task of volcanics, with a black armor (like doomfire) and some magma skin with it´s lex mixing with the lava in the ground. Volcanic HandhellFIRELevel: 1[Pyro/Effect]When this card is sent to the Graveyard from Battle or by a card effect. Destroy 1 card on the field. While this card is in your Graveyard, remove it from play. you can add 1 "Volcanic" monster from your Deck or your Graveyard to your hand.ATK/ 100DEF/ 200 Artwork idea: Iwant this one look like a mix of a granade but also like some kind of ankylosaurus or armdrillo kind of monster, with th obvious touch of the volcanic metallic look Volcanic SpitfireFIRELevel: 4[Pyro/Effect]You can discard 1 "Volcanic" card to select and destroy 1 card on the field. This card's name can be treated as "Tri-Blaze Accelerator" while it is on the field.ATK/ 500DEF/ 2200 Artwork idea: The face of a triceratops mixed with the facial "no detailed" designs of volcanics, the three horns could be some kind of natural canons that could make the effect of "tri-blaze", with a skin similar to "hammer" and we could add three volcano mouths in its back like some kind of shell. SPELLS/TRAP Volcanic SafeshotSpell - Quick-PlaySend 1 "Volcanic" monster from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls then draw 2 cards. Artwork idea: Scattershot like a bullet shooted in a very high speed mixing with the flames arround it. Volcanic Big Bang BlastTrap - NormalThis card can only be activated during your opponent's turn when your Life Points are 3000 or less. Discard your hand. For every "Volcanic" monster discarded by this effect, destroy 1 card on the field. Inflict 1000 damage for every card destroyed by this effect. Skip your next Draw Phase. Artwork idea: A Big Bang destroying everithing.. i dont think i have to explain more Volcanic Forge Trap - NormalDiscard 1 "Blaze Accelerator" to the Graveyard. Special Summon 2 "Volcanic" monster from the Graveyard. Artwork idea: Two silluetes coming out from the lava ground (could be slicer and hammerer) and pieces of "Blaze Accelerator" arround it burning in the lava. Incandescent Ground VolcanoSpell - FieldExcept for FIRE Monsters All face-up Level 4 or higher monsters on the field are changed to Defense Position. The players who dont control Pyro type Monsters recieve 800 damage for every Monster on the Field during the End Phase of each player turn. Artwork idea: Erosed land covered by ash and fire with a volcano in the background hiding the sillouete of Volcanic Doomfire in the dust of the ashes Signs of Living FlaresSpell - NormalIf there is at least 1 FIRE Monster on your Graveyard you can use 1 of the following 2 effects:*Select 1 FIRE Monster in your Deck, and add that card to your hand.*Discard 1 FIRE Monster from your hand to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower FIRE Monster from your Graveyard. Artwork idea: Flamvells and Volcanic monsters rising from a magma core sorrounded by flames and lava in the center of a volcanic structure (maybe the center of the planet) Scorching ExplotionTrap - CounterWhen a Pyro-type Monster its destroyed by battle or by a card effect. Destroy 1 opponent monster and inflict Damage equal to the half of the original ATK of the Monster destroyed by this effect Artwork idea: A Volcanic Shell exploding and the pieces with the explotion are making damage to a monster (could be Gagagigo) Link to comment

They don't tend to Summon high-level monsters, so the first card isn't usable IMO, the second one is okay, but I'd reduce its ATK to 500 so that it can be discarded by the standard Accelerator. The spell card is stall. I will never approve of that type of stall. Link to comment

During the End Phase, if a player controls no Pyro-Type monsters, they take 800 damage for each monster they control. Good combo with Nightmare Archfiends, actually. I like these. 8/10. sektorki Posted January 19, 2010 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2010 its not too hard, if you have "the thing from the crater" that card can help a lot to special summon big pyro monsters, also with gravity bind or the field i posted the collection of monster will be enought to tribute summon too also i added a new spell card Link to comment

sektorki Posted April 7, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 7, 2010 Finally im done with Volcanics, i dont thing they need something else cause all the flaws i saw when i played with this archetype i tryed to cover with these ideas. And also some of this cards will help to any "Pyro" type deck. please rate me, fix my OCG if i mistake in something, and off course try to give a very detailed look. :D Link to comment
