usetheforcehan
EMON! I CHOOSE YOU! Witch's Pet - EmonWhen this card is Summoned, check its Serial Numbers. If the 1st Digit is 4 or lower, increase this card ATK by 2000. If the 1st Digit is 5 or higher, increase this card DEF by 2000. Basically, this Effect use the Card Serial Numbers (SN). Because every card has a different SN, then the Effect are unique to each cards. You can go wild with your imagination with SN Effect like:•If the total of the 1st 3 digits is 21 or higher...•When the opponent Summoned a monster, check its Serial Numbers. If...•If the total cards in the field is lower than the target's 1st digit of its Serial Numbers, destroy...•Etc...

♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
effects not really realistic Try actually posting a helpful comment. Anyways. The effect really is unrealistic. The effect wouldnt work as the Serial Number is totally irrelevant to the TCG. However I cannot complain that it isn't original. It's quite original and it's well thought out and unique. Although it's effect seems to be mixed up. If it only works with it's own serial number it wont work since it's serial number wont change and it doesnt meet the requirements. I suggest changing it to a random card in your opponent's hand. 8/10 though I like it!
usetheforcehan
So basically, SN Effect is bad because the Effect is really bad, or because it's not implemented in the real TCG?

The effect is good (aside from the impossibility as it's effect will never activate in it's current condition) but it just wouldn't really be accepted since it's not relevant to Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. No. You can created a card with SN Effect that target your opponent monster or Spell/Trap. It's not just limited to your own card. Serial Numbers won't change, but every each copy of cards have differents SN. Like, you won't get 2 copy of Blue-Eyes with the same SN.

♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
I know that but this card's effect pretains to this card only, not other copies of it since you have it saying"When this card is Summoned, check its Serial Number." For it to achieve the desired effect you want you need it to say "When this card is Summoned, check the Serial Numbers of 1 other "Witch's Pet - Emon". If the 1st Digit is 4 or lower, increase this card ATK by 2000. If the 1st Digit is 5 or higher, increase this card DEF by 2000."

So if we create an unrealistic Effects -although make sense- if its not officially in TCG, it's forbidden to post it. Gotcha! Thanks everyone! ♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Nah. It's just not realistic you can post it in any other cards section. By the way I actually think that all cards of same name have the same SN. I have 2 Ground Spider cards with the exact say SN.

♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
No, perhaps some do but I dont have any copies that have seperate SN. usetheforcehan
Well i don't have a real yugi TCG (i also never touch yugi cards! Real or fake!). :DFrom your comments it's seem that the factories that produced yugi cards, just use the same mastercopy. I not sure about the Japan editions. Maybe Japs cards have different SN. Maybe.
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Well it makes sense as in order for the cards to be added into video games or other systems you need to input the Serial Number and it would be impossible to add in cards if the same cards had different serial numbers as the device the cards were being uploaded to wouldnt know which card it was accepting. ragnarok1945
now that is one REALLY weird effect for checking the digits, don't think they have such OCG for it yet the only problem is that the serial number isn't really relevant to the TCG, so I'll only give you 8/10 for that
