This can be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 Warrior or Thunder-Type monster from your Graveyard. If your opponent activates a Trap Card when this monster attacks, you can discard 1 Warrior or Thunder-Type monster to negate the activation and effect of the Trap Card and destroy it. You can only use this effect once while this card is face-up on the field. If this monster is Special Summoned from the Graveyard, the effect of this card is negated.

Well, I have to say, this is original, and it does only work once, unless you go through the trouble of returning it to your deck or removing it from play. But the fact that the effect only protects itself doesn't really give that much incentive to play the card, not with 1800 ATK. Still, very unique, and it has merit.
