jack781217
An archetype for the famous Level 5 Normal Monster "Labyrinth Wall"The idea is that a maze limits players' options of attacking/targeting with an effect.More cards will be coming, but the basic idea needs to be refined first. I know I forced some of the effects on there to agree with the theme and avoid possible deterioration of the game, so please rate and leave your comments on this idea. And also help my OCG! During each Standby Phase, the turn player can activate 1 of the following effect: •Swap the Card Zone Position of 2 adjacent face-up monsters on their side of the field. •Move face-up cards on their side of the field to adjacent unoccupied Card Zones, at most once per card. When a card is attacked or targeted by an effect of another card on the opposite side of the field, negate the attack/effect on that card if the two cards are not in the same column. During the End Phase, destroy this card if no face-up "Labyrinth Wall" is on the field. =======It so happens that Magical Labyrinth is a card of not much usefulness and its pic fits greatly with this card, so if you think the above posted image is too realistic...[spoiler=another version]Doens't it look a lot better? =======I am not sure if I made the effects clear in the lore, so I'll try to explain it better here. When this card is in play:1. A monster's attack will be negated if the attack target is in a different column. (so you can still declar an attack, but it will be like hitting a wall and produce no results) 2. The effect of a card that targets a card(s) in a different column will be negated, but to that card only. - if Icarus Attack targets 1 card in the same column and 1 card in a different column, the card in the same column is destroyed while the other one is not. - card effects that do not target is not affected by this effect, i.e. Mirror Force 3. If a player chooses to activate the 1st effect during his Standby Phase, he can move face-up cards on his side to an empty adjacent card zone. This include face-up monsters, Spells, and Traps. He can do so to any number of face-up cards on his side of the field, but cannot move a card more than once. 4. If a player chooses to activate the 2nd effect during his Standby Phase, he can only swap 1 pair of adjacent face-up cards. (because two-way traffic in a single lane of a maze should be harder than one-way traffic) 5. Face-down cards cannot be moved by this card's effect.(the traps don't move, but you lead your opponent's monsters to your traps)
ragnarok1945
there does not appear to be any OCG errors pic a little TOO realistic, but the effect is good, so I'll give you 9/
jack781217
I totally agree about the painfully realistic image. I tried to find one more fitting but couldn't...
