Why does everyone always want to talk about religion?

Wouldn't we be much happier not talking about it?

Do we really need to seek out more meaningless conflict?

How come we repeatedly delude ourselves into thinking other people care about our religious views?

I propose a much more enjoyable topic: money.

Specifically, uncommon types of money. Like silver dollars or two dollar bills. My aunt gave me a bunch of dollar and half dollar coins. I haven't spent them because they're interesting, so they sit on my desk. They make you feel like such a badass. Fun :D

Cool. I think I have some of those Lewis and Clark nickels. Like 10 years or whatever ago when those special USA quarters started coming out I got a collectors thing for them so I can collect them. Everyone in my family seems to care about it more than I do.

Me neither. I always spend stuff like that so quick I forget that it's some sorta fancy-ass coin. I wonder if they make coins like that to encourage people to save their money. Or maybe they do it becuase working at the mint gets to be a really boring job.

I'm not very material, truly, I am a person who is generally content.

But anyway, this overall topic is boring, so I propose a broader topic, collecting.

And on the title, it's because discussions on religion are important, as they allow people to sort out their own opinions more clearly to themselves, and make decisions as to what they truly think, in a situation that allows them to begin as against something, which makes the process easier.

How is money enjoyable? It causes wars man not cool. Religion on the other hand is our guide to spiritual completion, which is warm and fuzzy.

Religion is something you can poke fun at. And then get dipped in holy water so I won't be possesed by Satan. D:

I collect moneys from around the world.

But for my US collection... all 56 state quarters, gold and silver dollar coins, and some other crap.

I made a habit of never asking for money and always getting it, but always in an amount of 15 dollars or less.

When I do ask for money it is always a gift card to a store I never go to.

So usually what I have been doing is hinting that I like something in a particular store -That suites the person I'm asking- that is priced at above 50 dollars. So that when they give me the gift card to that particular store I can go and buy items that I actually need, while having the correct amount of money.

Although the last time that I ever did that was 4 years ago, because now it's my relatives asking me for money.
