GIMP question

Im beginner on gimp so i got a question:

If i have a picture that has text from Gimp that i downloaded like a booster pack and it tells u to put the name of the pack here how can i edit the text?

Just delete the text layer >.>

It has to be .psd or.xcf .

You cannot edit text that is preset. But to add text, use the "A" button.

I thought/think if there's a text layer' date=' not a transparent layer with text, then you can use the 'A' tool to edit it. Not sure though.

Even if the layer has not been flattened, you cannot edit text after it has been made.

Yes you can. After you type the text, move it around (just not rotate, scale, etc.) you CAN still edit it. As long as it still has the Text Layer Icon in the layers window, it will work.
