My advice: If you pick a pic with speed marks, render the speed marks with it too. It may be hard, but it's better. And you still have a thin line of BG left all around the picture. You use GIMP or PS?

Yes, but I do advise you perhaps use a soft eraser for that. But, I don't know if GIMP has this feature, but try. While you have the render selected, go to "Select > Defringe/Shrink Selection". Do this by like 1-2px, and delete again.
