It didn't make me cry, it doesn't depress me, but I do feel something deep down. It just shows you how much life isn't fair sometimes. This also shows to me that this man probably wished that if there was any diety (because I don't want to say God if he doesn't believe in him like I do.) that he would help. However, God will give you chances to have what you want, but you have to jump on it, and take it. God will not hand you anything, he will give you the chance, but you have to take it. Sure, taking risks and chances may let you end up in a favorable situation. But adding a non-existant being into the mix over-complicates and ruins the entire idea you are talking about. Why say that God gives you a chance to ask this girl out? It's based on multiple other factors. You can start a PM and we can duke it out. But I have zero time this week, as midterms are a total bish. I'll make time, however. No forum can handle a religious debate, but we'll see how this works out between us. This one, however, is designed to work on people who were in the same situation as that guy, namely being in love with your best friend and wondering "What if," then taking it to the extreme conclusion.
