Darkness Deck

 

Im going fro 40 cards + Fusions. Right now Im at 16 + 1 Fusion. I know some cards are over powered so I need some help in getting better ideas for the card effects. This deck is mostly based on effects at start and later on, the monsters develop stronger attack. The magic cards that I will add will be a lot of support for monster effects. The traps will be Life Savers or will help you make one attack that will be your victory. They can also make your opponents defenses render useless. All cards made by me. Also, it would be very helpful if someone can help me find images that aren't to realistic for the cards. So the style to be sort of like the yugioh anime is for their cards.

 

Monsters:

 

Dark Overlord Dragon

Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. You can special summon this card from your hand by removing 2 dark-beast type monsters from your graveyard or field from play. This card cannot be used as one of the cards removed from play. All DARK monsters on the field gain 300 attack points. During battle between this card and another monster on the field, flip a coin. If heads, this card gains 500 extra attack points. If tails, both players discard a card from their hands.

 

Darkness Reaper

Effect: Flip: Special Summon a monster from your graveyard with 2000 defense or less from your graveyard onto the field. When this card is sent to your graveyard, your opponent pays 500 Life Points.

 

Dark Spawn

Effect: When this card is sent to the graveyard from your hand, special summon it onto the field. When this card is sent to the graveyard from the field by a trap, pay 500 Life Points to special summon this card onto the field. If this card is sent to the graveyard by any other effect, special summon up to 2 Dark Spawns from your deck onto the field.

 

Eye of Darkness

Effect: When this card is summoned, summon it in the magic and trap card zone. This card cannot be attacked or affected by magic or traps while the monster zone isn't empty. While in the Spell and Trap card zone, this card is still treated as a monster. As long as this card remains face up on the field, you gain 300 Life Points each turn and your monsters gain a extra 400 attack points.

 

Gardet Demon of Black Fire

Effect: This card can only be summoned by the effect of Black Fire Ritual. When this card is destroyed, pay 1000 Life Points. This card is then removed from play. When this card is summoned, remove up to 3 dark-beast type monsters from your deck to the graveyard. You can then pay 500 Life Points per turn to activate one of these effects: * Destroy a spell or trap card that targets this card * Increase this cards attack by 1000 until the end phase.

 

Mirror Dark Dragon

Effect: This cards attack is equal to the highest monsters attack on your side of the field during the turn this card is summoned. When this card is attacked by a opponents monster, destroy the attacking monster at the end of the battle phase.

 

Mirror Night Dragon

Effect: 1 "Mirror Dark Dragon" + 1 "non-Tuner Dark-Beast type monster"

This cards attack is equal to Mirror Dark Dragons attack + half of the other monsters attack used to summon this card. Once during each of your main phases, remove 400 defense points from this monster. You can then pick a trap card from your graveyard and treat it as a equip trap. Equip it to this card. This card gains that traps effect until your next main phase. You can only activate this effect once per turn. This effect cannot be activated if the monsters defense is 0.

 

Shadow Archfiend

Effect: During each of your standby phases, discard a card from your hand. If not, destroy one monster on your side of the field. During each of your main phases, roll a die. If it rolls on 1, draw a card. If its 2, discard a card from your hand. If its 3, destroy a spell or trap on your opponents side of the field. If its 4, destroy a monster on the field. If its 5, increase this monsters attack by 300 for each monster on the field. If its 6, destroy this card. If any of the effects cannot be activated, re-roll the die.

 

Shadow Dragon

Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can be Special Summoned from your hand or graveyard by sacrificing 2 face up trap cards on your side of the field. This card gains the effects of the destroyed trap cards for the next 2 turns. If the cards effect is to treat it as a monster or to summon monsters, do not add their effects to this card. Destroy a spell or trap on your side of the field to destroy a spell or trap on your opponents side of the field.

 

Shadow Knight LV1

Effect: If there are 3 or less cards in your hand, increase this cards attack by 50 for every card on your side of the field. If this card is attacked by a monster with higher attack points than this card, remove 500 defense points from this card. This effect cannot be activated if this cards defense is 0. If this card destroyed a opponents monster, at the end of the current battle phase, you can tribute this card to special summon Shadow Knight LV3 from your hand or deck.

 

Shadow Knight LV3

Effect: This card gains 100 attack points for every Dark-Beast type monster on the field. Once per turn, you can discard a card from your hand to destroy a face up magic card on the field. If there are less than 4 cards in your hand, decrease the attack and defense of all opponents monsters by 100 points. If this card destroys a opponents monster, at the end of the current Battle Phase, you can tribute this card to special summon Shadow Knight LV5 from your hand or deck.

 

Shadow Knight LV5

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of Shadow Knight LV3. This card gains 100 attack and defense points for each dark-beast type monster on the field. Pay 500 Life Points and select a magic card on the field. If you select a face down card, flip the card face up without activating its effect. If its a magic, destroy it. If its a trap, set it back face down. When this card battles with a monster with less defense points than this cards attack points, deal the difference as battle damage to your opponents life points. If this card destroys a monster, at the end of the current Battle Phase, you can tribute this card to special summon Shadow Knight LV7 from your hand or deck.

 

Shadow Knight LV7

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned except by the effect of Shadow Knight LV5. Increase this cards attack by 100 for every Dark-Beast type monster on your side of the field. If this card battles with a defense position monster that has less defense points than this cards attack points, deal the difference as Battle Damage to your opponents Life Points. Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points to destroy a magic or trap card on the field. If there are less than 4 cards in your hand, your opponents monsters lose attack and defense points equal to their level X 100.

 

Spirit of Darkness

Effect: FLIP: Pay 500 Life Points. Take control of the attacking monster after damage calculation has been calculated.

 

The Guard of Shadow

Effect: If this card attacks a face down defense position monster. After battle calculation, destroy the defense position monster.

 

Wall of Darkness Illusions

Effect: This card cannot be destroyed by a monster effect. This card can't attack or be equipped with any other card. If a monster attacks this card and the monsters attack points are lower than this cards defense points, destroy that monster after damage has been applied.

Effect: (Red Eyes Darkness Dragon, Shadow Dragon) This card is unaffected by trap cards that designate a target. This card gains 300 attack points for every monster with "Darkness" or "Red Eyes" in its name. Once per turn during your main phase, you can pay 1000 Life Points to destroy one face down magic or trap card on the field. If the card is a trap card, you can place that card in your magic and trap card zone and treat it as a equip trap. You can then equip it to this card. This card gains that cards effect. Once the cards effect is used, destroy the equip trap card. Only one equip can be used with this cards effect.

the ones that do have capitalization errors (you also need to change magic to Spell)

 

Dark-Beast also isn't a real type' date=' but if it's your personal archetype, I guess I can let the fake type go

The fact that they don't have pics is cause some i simply can't find pics for them or Im still searching.

All my monsters will use fake types. This deck is made to be functional with only dark-beast type monsters. Its just a new idea.

 

The only effect i find to basic is the Guard of Shadows effect but adding him a new effect can make him a bit over powering for a Level 4 monster unless you or anyone else out there have any better ideas on what to give him. Id be happy to hear them :)
