CrabHelmet
Just because it's stronger than 90% of the cards out there and should be limited doesn't mean that it should have been banned' date=' not now, not ever.[/quote'] Chaos Sorcerer doesn't self-combo and has nothing resembling the Heavy Storm clause to keep him at 1 over 0. When you admitted that he should not be at 3, you admitted that he should be at 0. Only absurd Konamilogic can say otherwise.
Scatty
Well, at 1, he SHOULD be harder to get from the deck (probability). Anyway, let's talk about the history of another card. Meet Ceasefire! It was Limited from day 1, but it's an overall too easy 2500. I think it should be banned, makes burn-stall decks too strong. CrabHelmet
Well' date=' at 1, he SHOULD be harder to get from the deck (probability). [/quote'] Konamilogic. If Chaos Sorcerer is not a problem when you draw him, then he should be at 3 because things that are not problems do not need to be restricted in any way. If Chaos Sorcerer is a problem when he is drawn, then that problem should be eliminated by banning him outright. The middle ground of limiting him - or virtually any other card - to make the problem still occur but less often is nonsensical.

Pot O Greed
I read in an article that Chaos Emperor Dragon and Black Luster Soldier were responsible for the creation of the banlist.
Cavv10
It was mainly Chaos Emperor Dragon an Yata-Garasu that were responsible.
.Gideon.
I played at that time, and I remember all of us casual players didn't give a damn to that list when it came out xDactually, the ban list was released to stop the terror of old time chaos decks, CED & BLS and yes it was hell alot different than today's lists ..
