Reaper can only be summon by:

1. with a certain number of cards in you Graveyard

2. Remove those card later

I call it reap summon cause once you "Reap" those card you won't get it back, unless by spell/effect/trap

The number or cards needed is count like this:

Level of the card you want to summon divide by 2. If the card's LV is an odd number, count it like this, add 1 more LV to the card then divide by 2. For example, If you want to summon a LV 10 monster, you need to have exactly 5 cards in your Graveyard, not more not less, then remove those card from play and summon your monster~ Easy to remember right ?

Reap Summon List:

Level-------------cards need to have in the Graveyard and Remove

1-----------------------------------1

2-----------------------------------1

3-----------------------------------2

4-----------------------------------2

5-----------------------------------3

6-----------------------------------3

7-----------------------------------4

8-----------------------------------4

9-----------------------------------5

10-----------------------------------5

11-----------------------------------6

12-----------------------------------6

Good thing bout this type, can inflict many damage

Bad thing bout this card, you cannot summon when the cards in your graveyard is more than the numbers needed

Yea, well maybe the summoning is kinda similar to some of the special summoning but I wanna try creating a new type=)

Credits to Raphidra for giving me the pics and for correcting the mistakes XD, Thank you

[spoiler=Here's a card I just made, don't think it's good but do comment]475079.jpg

Thanks to The_Weasel_46 for the OCG =)

When this card is Summoned successfully, halve the ATK of all monsters on the field until your End Phase. Every time a card is removed from play, inflict 300 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, when a card would be sent to the Graveyard, remove it from play instead. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, remove it from play instead.

This is my suggestion for OCG, though some of the wording is probably just a matter of personal taste :)

"This card cannot be Normal Summoned, Set, or Special Summoned. This card can only be Summoned by Reap Summon. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, remove it from play instead."

Another thing. If it's an entirely new game mechanic, you probably don't have to stipulate that it can't be Normal Summoned, etc. since it is a "Reaper" monster. Kind of like Synchros - it is assumed that whoever is using them knows the deal. (i.e. the sort of thing that would be in the rule book instead of on the card).

Anyway, I think it's an awesome idea for a game mechanic. 8/10

A new type isn't needed and doesn't get its own mechanic. Change the title/first post to indicate that it's a sub-type(which is how this works already).

The card seems okay as a beatstick in any remains of Macro or DAD floating around.

Oh, I see, sorry still new at this, thanks for telling^^

There doesn't seem to be sufficient reason to make a new sub-type just for this idea. Archetype' date=' sure, but not a sub-type. Also, even with the special summoning requirements, having a card that removes all cards form play instead of the graveyard AND deals 300 damage for each seems too powerful.

You seem to be playing quite UP'd Decks if this seems like an extraordinary threat =/ It's fairly balanced IMO, and will probably just be run like Eatos.
