~~ Updated "Pandora' Box " Cards 26/? ~~

These are my new cards: the "Pandora" archetype.

Their effects are based off the "Parasite Paracide" effect of invading your opponent's deck. This gives you beneficial effects in addition to a dead draw for your opponent. However, They are balanced out by their short field lives (you usually want to get them into your opponent's deck instead) and the cost you must pay to take them back from your opponent before THEY can use them.

Also, I apologize for any overused pics. I got them all from Jazin's archive, so they've probably been picked over several times.

"You must pay 1000 Life Points to activate this card. "Pandora" monsters on your opponent's side of the field gain 1000 ATK and DEF. This card is unaffected by the effects of Spell and Trap cards. If a Field Spell Card is activated while this card is on the field, the field is treated as that Field Spell Card, but this card is not destroyed."

"This card can only be Summoned or Set when there is a "Pandora's Box" on the field. When this card is removed from the field, shuffle it face-up into your opponent's Deck. When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, you may search your opponent's deck for a "Pandora" monster and place it face-up on top of your opponent's deck. Then, you may add this card to your hand. If you do, skip your next Draw Phase."

"This card can only be Summoned or Set when there is a "Pandora's Box" on the field. When this card is removed from the field, shuffle it face-up into your opponent's Deck. When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, draw 3 cards. Then, you may discard 2 of them to send this card to its owner's Graveyard."

 

[spoiler=Commoner-Envy]

"This card can only be Summoned or Set when there is a "Pandora's Box" on the field. When this card is removed from the field, shuffle it face-up into your opponent's Deck. When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, take control of up to 2 of your opponent's monsters. Then, you may give control of 1 of them to your opponent to send this card to its owner's Graveyard."

 

[spoiler=Nobleman-Gluttony]

"This card can only be Summoned or Set when there is a "Pandora's Box" on the field. When this card is removed from the field, shuffle it face-up into your opponent's Deck. When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, you gain Life Points equal to the combined ATK of your opponent's face-up monsters. Then, you may pay half that amount of Life Points to send this card to its owner's Graveyard."

"This card can only be Summoned or Set when there is a "Pandora's Box" on the field. When this card is removed from the field, shuffle it face-up into your opponent's Deck. When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, you may add a number of "Pandora" monsters from your Graveyard to your Deck equal to the number of "Pandora" monsters in your opponent's Deck and shuffle your Deck. Then, you may send 2 cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard to send this card to its owner's Graveyard."

"This card can only be Summoned or Set when there is a "Pandora's Box" on the field. When this card is removed from the field, shuffle it face-up into your opponent's Deck. When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, discard 1 card from your hand and destroy up to 3 cards on the field. Then, you may pay 1000 Life Points to send this card to its owner's Graveyard."

"This card can only be Summoned or Set when there is a "Pandora's Box" on the field. When this card is removed from the field, shuffle it face-up into your opponent's Deck. When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, you may add up to 2 cards with "Pandora" in their card names from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Then, you may add 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard to their hand to send this card to its owner's Graveyard."

"This card can only be Summoned or Set when there is a "Pandora's Box" on the field. When this card is removed from the field, shuffle it face-up into your opponent's Deck. When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, remove from play all copies of the card that removed this card from the field by battle or by an effect in each player's field, hand, Deck, and Graveyard."

"This card can only be Summoned or Set when there is a "Pandora's Box" on the field. When this card is removed from the field, shuffle it face-up into your opponent's Deck. When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, Special Summon 1 "Sloth Token" (Fiend - Type/DARK/Lv 1/ATK/0/DEF/0) on their side of the field. Then, you may return this card to its owner's Graveyard. If you do, skip your next turn. ("Sloth Tokens" cannot be Tributed and are unaffected by all card effects. The controller of a "Sloth Token" can activate card effects and declare an attack only once each per turn. )"

When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, remove all cards on their side of the field from play and inflict damage to their Life Points equal to the number of monsters you control x300. Then, you may send this card to its owner's Graveyard. If you do, your opponent may Special Summon 1 monster from his/her Deck in Defense Position."

When your opponent adds this face-up card to their hand, check all monsters on your opponent's side of the field, your opponent's hand, and all cards he/she draws during your opponent's next 3 turns, and destroy all monsters with a DEF of 2000 or less (except "Pandora" monsters). Then, you may discard your entire hand to send this card to its owner's Graveyard."

"Once per turn during either player's turn, if you control no monsters, you may Special Summon 1 "Pandora Soldier - Disease" from your Deck or Graveyard. This counts as a Normal Summon."

"Place 1 "Pandora Servant - Deceit" in your hand face-up on top of your opponent's Deck. Then, increase your Life Points by an amount equal to the number of "Pandora" monsters in your opponent's Deck x200"

"Special Summon as many face-up "Pandora" monsters in your Deck as possible. During the End Phase of the turn this card was activated, return them to your Deck face-down and shuffle it."

[spoiler=Pandora Shield]

"You may only activate this card when your opponent declares an attack with a "Pandora" monster. Negate the attack, end the Battle Phase, and return the monster to its owner's hand."

[spoiler=Vile Connection]

"When your opponent Summons a "Pandora" monster, you may Special Summon 1 "Pandora" monster from your Graveyard with a Level less than or equal to that of your opponent's monster."

[spoiler=Rash Anger Impulse]

"When your opponent Special Summons a monster, negate the Special Summoning of the monster and remove it from play. Your opponent draws 3 cards."

 

 

 

Yes, I know that due to their effects, they would get raped by LS. However, they weren't designed as meta or anti-meta.

Despite that, they still need support, which I am in the process of making.

Thanks a lot! You're right, I did spend a lot of time on these - mostly looking for the right pics. The second I found Jazin's archive I was like

But seriously, I have about 3 other sets like this on the bench cuz I can't find me no good pics. :(

1. Face-up IS necessary. If it wasn't there, then your opponent would be activating all the effects of the *face-down* Pandora monsters you would be drawing normally, thus screwing you over. :)

 

2. OP? I resent that... every one of these is pretty much an auto -1, 2, or even 3 depending on its level since the point is to get it in your opponent's Deck (where it will stay, I might add, for a pretty dang long time unless you have Dark Designator or something). On top of that, you must have Pandora's Box on the field to even play them, AND if you choose not to take the last cost on each card, your opponent gets a free +1000ATK beatstick. Which ain't good. Cuz most of yo' monsters are face-up in their Deck. I think this makes them pretty balanced.

 

3. I totally agree. Neither would I. :P
