A Government System I would love!

Sounds like France.

Maybe things like this' date=' like I was talking to you over on PM. ;D

But then again... does sound like France. xD

[/quote']

That wasn't unreasonable or harsh. >:

I mean, even they've gotta admit it's true. *points to world wars* xD

Lolololoololll, okay then, not unreasonable nor harsh, unhelpful, especially to users who may be French, but I still agree. xD, it will happen one day though BFire.. one day. xD

Unhelpful, yeah I guess. But the person who said it in the first place seemingly agreed with me, so...

And if I offended any French people, I'm sorry. I don't complain when people do it about the British, though. xD

BFIRE?! HOW DARE YOU. I'LL HAVE YOUR HEAD FOR THAT! Naw, just kidding. <3

They must have an IQ of 130 or higher early in life. By 3rd grade should be about the latest they may be considered gifted to do this stuff.

What a biased funking system. I would assinate you.

Oh, while were at it lets kill the retards and poor, oh and toss in the Jews.

Basically this is how it works:

Head of Government (able to directly propose new laws) Okay.

Vice-Head (able to propose that the head propose a law) This is where I'm starting to doubt this government's overall efficiency and general competence.

Then we have the senate' date=' 267 people that get to vote on a law. [b']Okay, not really different stuff.[/b] These then get signed by the head. I think you meant "assigned".People are elected in elections for these positions. For 267 people? These voters must have a hell of a lot of time on their hands. Here's the catch: All of them must be gifted. Even the voters have to be gifted. I just stopped taking this post seriously from here.

Also there would still be trials, generals, and all sorts of roles in society that are able to be participated in by the non-gifted. I'm started to visualize this strange dystopian caste society that's been done thousands of times before. And wait, people can command entire legions and armies yet still aren't "gifted" enough to vote?

Oh and all wars end quickly with a nuke. And rainbows will suddenly pour out of the Terminator's ass and guns will evaporate people into neat little ash piles.

Yeah, I fail to see how this system is to be taken seriously. =/

The main problem is not the IQ of people, but their competence. Just because I have an IQ of 142 it doesn't mean that I'm not a slacker who sleeps 10 hours every night, is late at everything and rarely does his homework.

About the Jew part...well, he did not mention anything about religion there, but a society primordially based on intellect tends to be generally Atheistic. Yet again, why is that a bad thing?

Your country's population would be, like 500.

I think it would have 279 people in it.

I'd love a government system in which I was the ultimate king-dictator-emperor-generalissimo. That doesn't mean that such a government system is a good one' date=' or a feasible one, or one worth discussing on the internet.

[/quote']

I disagree, as it would be good for yourself. While not a good government for anyone except the 'supreme leader' of sorts (yet that is still used some places), I doubt you'd say no if offered.

True, from my perspective it is good. But everyone who has played Mafia knows that any sentence beginning with "From my perspective..." is extremely suspect in terms of, well, everything.

However, I would argue that, for the good of the people as a whole, my Admiral-President role would be better than catking's absurd "Vote of people we feel like giving votes to" system. At least my system is openly authoritarian, which makes it easier for righteous revolutionaries to eliminate; catking's system has the same ultimate effects (or worse, because it's not run by me and therefore lacks my fabulousness) due to the obvious problems with the system, but the causes are more insidious and less overtly in control, which makes it harder for anyone to eliminate and thus closer to a classic Orwell's Boot.

So you say that your Admiral-President that commands everything like government is better because it can be taken down more easily? Well, it IS an opinion...

Given a choice between two totalitarian, oppressive monstrosities of government, I would always prefer the one that can be removed most easily. Between two evils of equal magnitude, the one easier to eliminate is doubtlessly preferable.
