New Devil May Cry card, first attempt at this...

No Other Way

Recommended Posts

hey, first try at making a card, i thought it looked pretty cool in the end, still need to make the ritual card, rebellion card and ebony and ivory cards as equips, and a devil trigger, something like metal morph might be fun, the effect isn't too much i don't think, but it's the reason his level is so high. his attack and defense will be raised with his weapons and devil trigger making him a more powerful card, maybe adding effects too, i don't think anyone had used this picture before, if so my bad, hope to make a Virgil card to go with it, rate if you like, please be honest, and if you have any ideas i would like to hear them too, thanks hope you liked it

dude dante should be an normal effect monster and his demon form should be a synchroo' date='or a dark synchro

yeah i had thought about doing something like that but i wanted to push the fact that he requires a few cards to get better, and for the demon form i thought about a counter trap or something, like when he dies it brings him back, or something like that

Why is Dante a LV 12. He seems UPed.

i'm guessing that means underpowered? But that's what i wanted in a way, i know the pic is of Devil May Cry 4 Dante, but i wanted it to be like DMC3, where Dante is relatively weak until he gets his weapons powered up, like i mentioned in the post before this i have some fun ideas yet to do for his Devil Trigger, i also want to do something with his mother's amulet too, not sure quite what yet, but i'll figure that out lol

Demon is not a type

UP'ed

i guess my question is in what way is he UP'ed? how or what determines a card is UP'ed? what do you compare them too? or what do you mean? my idea was that this card needs to be played with the equips like in the games, and without his Devil Trigger form he is already up to 3500 and even then can't be destroyed unless in battle with a higher monster, do you mean he relies too heavily on cards? and with the demon type, i hadn't really planned on this being a realistic card, are we supposed to follow the rules that closely? i'm not trying to start an arguement, or insult your comment i would just like to know for future reference is all, thanks

The sword gives too much attack, other than that I see nothing that would give the idea of it being "UP'd".

Anyone who says that without explanation as of why, probably doesn't even know what UP'd is.

Edit: Not to mention in a real duel the chances of getting both equip cards and this monster are low. Not to mention it would be a pain in the ass to get that 12 Star tribute if your opponent has any skill at all.

lol, yes i know that, but don't you think with his effect, and the equip cards if i put him any higher he will be able to challenge an ultimate dragon or even more, i thought i would lower the attack for the effect, but what do you think would be an alright ATK for this card?
