Lore?: There once was a brave knight. The greatest warrior in all the land. Many tried to defeat him. All were slew with ease. The knight had everything he could ever want. Riches, power, fame and a loving family. But, he lusted even more power. So he walked through the forest, wondering how to make himself even more powerful, and then he met a mysterious stranger. The stranger was dressed in a black robe and his face was concealed by a joker's mask. The knight, being as arrogant as he was, raised his sword to the stranger. He yelled "YOU THERE!!! GET OUT OF MY WAY OR I WILL CUT YOU DOWN!!!!!" The stranger remained silent for a few minutes and then replied with "I would gladly move out of your way, but, I sense that you desire something quite badly, and I think I can give it to you. What is it that you want?" Shocked, the knight stood there silently. After a minute or two he told the stranger he wanted to be stronger. The stranger lightly laughed and replied "Is that all? I will give you power beyond your wildest dreams. But you need to give me something." The knight, as power hungry and stupid as he was, simply yelled "I AGREE TO ANY TERMS!!! JUST GIVE ME MORE POWER!!!!". The stranger sighed and handed him a contract. The knight arrogantly signed it. Before the knight could say another word, the stranger was gone. Excited, he tried hitting a tree with his sword, seeing if the blade would leave a bigger cut. To the knight's disappointment, a normal sized cut was left in the tree. Angered, he stormed home. After a few hours of screaming and swearing, he fell asleep. When he woke up, he found himself in the middle of town, covered in blood, surrounded by dead bodies. It was obvious what happened, he got more power, but lost his mind. At first he was somewhat in control of his body, but that didn't last. After only a few years, the knight was gone. In his place, a hulking, mutated, monster that barely resembles the person it once was.
