Aero~
I put this here because I don't know where it goes. Please move to correct section :D Welcome to Xion 27's card - making tips for new members CapitalizationCapitalization Capitalization. Always pointed out, a lot of times I do it, and so does Ragnarok1945. Read this section to confirm your capitolizatian. ● Graveyard. One of the most commonly uncapitalizaed terms. If you put graveyard, it should be Graveyard.● Summon, Special Summon, Set, Normal Summon. More of the most commonly uncapitalizaed terms. If you put summon, normal summon, set, or special summon, it should be Summon, Normal Summon, Special Summon, or Set.● Life Points. A commonly uncapitalizaed term. If you put life points, it should be Life Points.● Card names. An uncommonly uncapitalizaed term. If you put the first letter of your card's name uncapitalized, or the first letter of any word in a card's name, it should be capitalized.● tuner should be Tuner.● deck should be Deck. OCGOCG● One of, if not the most commonly pointed out thing.● Visit the OCG thread for tips on how to fix it.● OCG is Original Card Grammar. It means how the effect of a card portrays the effect of a real card.● ATK and DEF. When you're making a card that involves these, they ARE NOT reffered to as attack and defence. they should always be refered to as what they are called, ATK and DEF.●Fusions. no /, a +. When making your fusion, put the first Fusion Material Monster, the a space, then a +, then a space, then the next Monster, and so on.● always put card names involved in an effect (i.e., add 1 "Card's Name" from your Deck to your hand.) in " ".● Sacrafice should always be Tribute.● Don't describe the Monster in the effect. (i.e, the effect "Decreasae any Battle Damage you take involving this card to 0." on a Dragon- Type Monster. If you put card description, it would say, "His really hard scales protect his master from being hurt.". Don't do it.) The SectionsThe SectionsRealistic card section● Made for realistic and balanced cards. A card is considered realistic if it's OCG makes sense in the card game. I'd suggest this for card makers who are pretty sure about thier OCG and/or have made several cards.● Please don't post your unrealistic cards there.Any Other Cards● Intended for card that are unrealistic, or aren't pop culture.● You should probably post your card here if you're not so sure about their OCG and you would like suggestions.● Good for new members. Pop Culture● Only for cards from movies, TV shows, books, etc. Fake typesFake types● Fake types are usually shunned and unapreciated. They are needless.● the existing types are here.please use one of them.● If you still wish to use a fake type, put it in Any Other Cards (AOC) section. Other ● Card build. Make you're card's name and effect relative to the name and vice versa. (i.e, If you have a picture of an undead, you probably wouldn't want to call it Happy Pony.) Welches tips to Rating Cards 1. Give cruel advice. 2. Judge on quality of the idea behind the effect after helping the OCG. 3. Do not say "Bad OCG", nor should you send them to the OCG thread. 4. Give harsh advice. 5. The pic is everything. 6. Card layout needs help, just as everything else does. 7. Have I mentioned give detailed advice? Explanation 1. If you let a card maker off, just because they are new, they will ever learn. I die on the inside when I see a member post "8/10, because your new". You just boosted their ego for no reason. If a member gets positive feedback they think that they have done something right. News to you: they haven't. They posted a bad card and that is all that matters. 2. Although you need to be harsh, you can still congratulate for a good idea. Not all card makers have bad ideas because they have bad card. Rate this part separately. This way they will not quit because they feel unwanted. 3. Sending them to the OCG thread prove your lazy. Do not be lazy when rating cards. They spent a while making it, so you owe the helpful advice. Telling them their OCG sucks is lazy.Do not be lazy when rating cards. They spent a while making it, so you owe the helpful advice. Instead, fix the OCG and try to explain why. This will reinforce the idea into their mind. 4. See 1. 5. Well, its not everything, but it is important. A new card maker needs to learn that most card raters judge solely on the pic, so they need to learn how to find a good one. Also, give them a link to Deviantart, instead of telling them about the site. This will give them easy access to the site. 6. The pic and OCG is generally all people rate. To help a card maker fine tune their skills, help them with the small parts of the cards. Name, type, attribute, circulation, Set ID. These are small things that make all the difference between a good card maker and a newb. 7. See 1.

Dissonance
It fails to cover anything beyond the bare minimum of what is acceptable. And you use vague terms such as "unrealistic cards" without defining what a "realistic card" entails.

Dissonance
Discuss flow of cards. As in, build your effect around the picture you select//vice versa.
