Saturn of Elemia
Hey, all. Saturn here once again. Since people seemed to like the idea of using and manipulating the Turn Count, I thought I'd show you a few more cards from the project of mine (even though I don't intend to show the entire thing here). Here are six more for your viewing pleasure: Fun protection card - and it gets better if you can get multiple effects off as well... http://i349.photobucket.com/albums/q364/SaTuRnPaLaDiN/STRN-002TimeriftManipulator.jpg' alt='STRN-002TimeriftManipulator.jpg'>Your opponent won't like it when this thing comes out, no matter what effect you pull off. Go for more than one and watch the fun begin... http://i349.photobucket.com/albums/q364/SaTuRnPaLaDiN/STRN-003SadisticTimeshifter.jpg' alt='STRN-003SadisticTimeshifter.jpg'>Good beatstick to move it forward. Not necessarily a bad thing to move the Turn Count backwards if it kills a powerful monster - and helps to get the effects of those monsters shown above (the first two). http://i349.photobucket.com/albums/q364/SaTuRnPaLaDiN/STRN-006KeeperoftheTimeflow.jpg' alt='STRN-006KeeperoftheTimeflow.jpg'>The Turn Count cannot be moved forward except by a card effect. This card cannot be destroyed by battle with a monster whose Level is equal to or lower than the last digit of the Turn Count. If the Turn Count is 15 or higher, destroy any monster that battles with this card at the end of the Damage Step as an additional effect.Like where the Turn Count is right now? Then put this thing on the field and it will not move forward. The turns will still go as normal (and your opponent will still get their turns), but the Turn Count number just won't increase (unless someone uses a card that moves it forward). Get the Turn Count high enough and things start to die! Rate/hate/comment/discuss. IF YOU SPAM, FLAME, OR HARASS IN MY THREAD, YOU WILL BE REPORTED AND NEGGED - NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!! Guest Zeonark
Ohoho. These again. I swear the third and fifth one are both Sakuya. I think. First and Second one would be fun to summon copies of. Especially the first one. Third one is abusable with Final Countdown. ...I think. Anyway, depending if the duel actually lasts out or not, you could have quite the powerful monster on your field. Fourth card is just a God Shield for long lasting duels. Srsly. Fifth one would be useful for the first two. Like you stated. And if you get it strong enough though, you'll almost never have to use it's second effect. ;DSo it's useful if destroyed or not. Last card is...a tad overpowered? I mean, summon that on the 19th turn and your opponent can't even beat it with monsters Level 8 or lower. But there's always Spells/Traps so I guess it's balanced. It's good for the second card's o5 effect though. Interesting... These are pretty good. Saturn of Elemia
Actually, it goes on the LAST digit - not on the total. The highest Level monsters it can stop are Level 9 monsters.

I know there isn't a Level 19 monster in the game. xD

Although, Level 10 or higher monsters could trample over it (if people actually USE those). Of course, they could use cards from my Shadows of Rivalry set to manipulate the Levels of monsters on the field to get over that little hurdle. (Yeah, I interconnect sets at times)
Chaos Flame
I love time count cards (like my tempus set that died ages ago :()The effects seem to be balanced and support each other well. 8.9/

Exa Raiun
The idea of using turn count as a base of the effects is creative, that's for sure. One of the few parts of the gameplay which is not really used. Not to mention that the concept of time-using cards is not only interesting, but useful, too. Let's see the cards one by one: Timekeeper Guardian: I have to admit, I like protection cards. And this one does this job really well. If you can pull it in the right time, it can save you from many headaches caused by effects. It also has a decent DEF, so it can stand on the field for a long enough time. 8/10 Timerift Manipulator: Its low stats make the card searchable, but the true power lies in its effects, which are indeed great for a Level 3 monster, ranging from the mildly annoying (first effect) to the very powerful (last effect). If you can take your time, it can mess around the plans of your opponent a lot! 8.5/10 Sadistic Timeshifter: If drawn in the right time, it has the chance to become very powerful, not to mention its searchable, just like the previous card. Moving the turn count can be also useful for the other cards. 8/10 Defender of the Timerift: Used early - low durability. Used late - nigh invulnerability against attacks. Considering it needs at least turn count 10 to match with other defense Level 4 monsters (which tend to have 2000-2100 DEF), it may arrive a bit too late. 6.5/10 Clocktower Assassin: A powerful beatstick which also kills a monster when destroyed by battle? Wow!... Because of that, it could see use in a non-time-based deck, too. Hmmm.... 8/10 Keeper of the Timeflow: It has similar problems than Defender of the Timerift - for quite a number of turns, it doesn't have much use. Unlike the other card, though its protection can be good enough in a shorter time. The time stop ability is curious, and the last effect can be abusable in the right time. 7/10 In total, I have to say that while in an unlucky draw, the concept may have speed problems, but in general, this won't be that much of a problem. Spell / Trap support could make them even better!

Ayasato-chan
... Time cards. I love the concept already. And these are definately creative. Although I can't help but feel that Final Countdown would love these cards... :D (Also, I sent you a PM Saturn.)
