RPG Tsukuru DS!! (RPG Maker DS)

Enterbrain knows how to make me happy :D

 

Apparently, Enterbrain has recently announced the creation of a portable RPG Maker: RPG Tsukuru DS.

It was released in Japan in January, but no other release dates have been confirmed. (Though it is highly speculated that it will make it overseas :)).

 

The Maker is basically a ported version of VX, which may be a letdown to some who prefer XP to VX. The sprites (yay, chibi :3), event system, and database seem almost identical to VX's. (If you don't like the sprites, there's a free-draw function.)

 

But the unique feature is that it will allow exchangement of game data via Wifi, Wireless Communications, or Download Play. You can exchange created skills, items, enemies, or even finished games.

Also, you can hook up to the "Maker Castle" on WiFi, which allows you to download new material available every now and then.
