Lies. Not only do certain random monsters, including Stardust and the ENTIRE ANCIENT GEARS ARCHETYPE have some sort of protection against Spells and Traps, but there's also this:

Being able to be countered changes nothing. Otherwise, everything would be at 3 because Solemn or the Heralds can stop them.

Indeed. I doubt that monsters without inherent Spell and Trap protection can possibly be broken. This means that we can finally unban perfectly counterable monsters like Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, and Cyber-Stein, and Cyber Jar, and Dark Magician of Chaos, and Dark Strike Fighter, and Destiny Hero - Disk Commander, and Fiber Jar, and Magical Scientist, and Makyura the Destructor, and Sinister Serpent, and Thousand-Eyes Restrict, and Tribe-Infecting Virus, and Victory Dragon, and Witch of the Black Forest, and Yata-Garasu. Similarly, pretty much all of the Spells and Traps that have been banned can easily be stopped by Dark Bribe or something similar, so let's legalize all of them too.

yata-garasu prevents your opponent from drawing (a possible trap card) so it has a (very distant) way of getting around traps

to be honest, I don't completely understand why dark magician of chaos needs to be banned

dark strike fighter can get around traps like mirror force and sakuretsu armor because it can deal burn damage

I dont see what the big deal with disk commander is either...

nor makyura

sinister serpent is best in the hand and most card effects don't hurt that area so that's getting around spells/traps

and I really don't see why victory dragon is banned. if you know you're going to lose, why not just scoop?

and just because cyber jar and fiber jar don't have a way around spells or traps does not mean it should not be banned. that is one of few cards without a way around that I agree should be limited some way.

just because a card can be countered doesn't mean I don't think it shouldn't be banned. every card can be countered with something. I mean if a card has some kind of difference, or backup or something other than just attack and it can do something moderate, then I don't think it's as broken as everyone is making it seem.

you guys are slightly (just slightly) over-exaggerating (for lack of a better word) what I said...

I dont see what the big deal with disk commander is either... Too generic a draw card that adds lots of cards to hand.

nor makyura Draw through deck with trap draw cards and win in one turn with some burn combo like wall of relealing light + life equalizer + blasting the ruins

sinister serpent is best in the hand and most card effects don't hurt that area so that's getting around spells/traps Infinite discard fodder for raigeki breaks and wing blasts and an instant +1 every turn just for having it in your deck

and I really don't see why victory dragon is banned. if you know you're going to lose, why not just scoop? You can't technically scoop. Scooping only occurs when you're going to lose, otherwise you can get DQ'd from Konami events.

That looks like a really good list with the exception of allure. Everything that should be hit to make the game a more than 2 deck game has been hit.

Btw' date=' Lightsworn are still the best deck if this list turns out real.

[/quote']

yeah LS is definitely better than Ab Zero, Chaos, GBs, and Blackwings with this lit. losing 2 Charges, 1 Honest, 1 JD, and 1 solar totally makes them a top deck.

War chariot... fine by me' date=' I only ran two anyway.

[/quote']

This is like when they semi-limited Bottomless Trap Hole. Nobody should use more than 2 anyways.

Anti-meta decks ran three.

GB war chariot is particularly useless though, given it's reusable.

Yeah, and Anti-Meta decks never win, so nobody should use them.

I know they've been hit a lot, but so has everything else worth playing. Blackwing lose a little speed and explosiveness with dad and whirlwind and GB game 1 vs Lightsworn loses some edge with chariot to 2.

With the cards taken from lightsworn they didn't touch beckoning light which means they haven't been hit enough to knock them off top spot.

Could you explain what's wrong with running War Chariot thrice?

Everybody ran 3 BTH' date=' what are you guys on about?

If by "everybody", you mean "retards", then yes.

*shrug* generally I don't run more than 2 of any card unless it's really effective/helpful in the deck. I really only need 1 but I put in 2 to increase chances of drawing one, and 3 takes up too much space... of course some of my deck making (along with other) ideas seems to be looked down on around here so don't take my word for anything
