ooc: No, I randomly felt like adding some random goddess in. Apate is never mentioned in the series. If you want information about her, look it up. And I haven't made any mistakes about her. If you think I made a mistake about her, you're wrong. Look closer at what kind of goddess she is.

IC: 'Woah.' Dante was impressed by Ian's speed. 'So that's what your powers are. Speed. I prefer my powers over love, myself. I can get any girl, other than Aphrodite's daughters, to do anything for me. Why do you think Hermes cabin is helping Athena in Capture the Flag?' Dante was still running to catch up. 'Anyway, these are the woods where we'll be playing Capture the Flag. This here, Zeus' Fist, is where we'll probably put our flag.' Dante arrived at Zeus' Fist, a huge pile of boulders. 'The creek is the border, so if you cross it, you may be in trouble. That's pretty much all there is to show you, an Athena camper should be able to do a much better job, though. As the Stolls said, us Aphrodite campers are too stuck-up to be any help.' Dante laughed.

"Ha that was kind of funny" Ian said muffling a laugh."But yea I guess i am fast i never thought of that..." Ian was standing still without moving his feet and he was suprised and uncomfortable and he started shaking his hand just to feel regular but he could tell it wasn't the tourrettes."do you think i could be any help getting the flag...after all i do have this." Ian pulled out his phone which turned to Caduces mode in his hand and he shook it to turn into the sword but instead the wings began flapping and raised his feet from the ground. Ian let go and it turned back into a sword and landed at his feet. Ian looked up at Dante with a confused expression.

ooc: I'm not mad, but if you looked up Apate you'd see that my post was incorrect, even though it was completely intentional. Apate isn't the godess of heritage. I just said that randomly. And I don't really want people correcting me for intentional mistakes.

IC: 'Nice' Dante exclaimed, 'that could be really useful. Maybe not your flying sword, but your speed would be really useful to get the flag. I'm pretty sure Apollo's against us. Their archers would shoot you down to the ground, and you'd be toast. But...' Dante trailed off. 'Put your Caduces or whatever that is somewhere else, and get two shields from the armoury. If you can use your speed to get there, you'll still need to protect yourself. You aren't for offense, you're a scout, sort of. Okay? That's why I'd suggest you use two shields instead of your sword thing.' Dante paused for a moment. 'Do you hear that?'

Meanwhile, Nikki was back at Athena cabin, reaching into her bag. She pulled out a ring, ornate gold with an emerald inset into it's center, examined it for a second, and then quietly said, 'Perfect.' She also brought out a single stilleto knife, with a jeweled hilt and the tip of the blade tinged green. She smiled to herself and put both of the objects into her pocket. Nikki was ready to Capture a Flag.

OOC: Damn, you guys are half a day ahead of me.

 

IC: After Tyson watch wrestling, he started to watch the news. On the news they said about weird things happening all over the world. But he knew that is was mythical beasts and the Gods that are doing it all. So After watching the news he went to bed. He slep for eight hours and was not dreaming. When he woke up he look around and small the air. "Oh today smalls so good and a good day to train too." He said too him self. Then he ate and got dress. He is wearing a red shirt and and blue jeans. Then he got out his sword and went outside.

OoC: I wasn't pointing out a mistake. I just don't know anything about Greek gods and im on book 4's first chapter. So i was wondering if she appeared in later books thats all....i have no idea it was wrong.

And its not a flying sword. The caduceus flies. and i wasn't showing you it can fly it just did randomly.

And Tyson where is there a TV at camp?!?!?

 

IC:"Yeah, Right." Ian said pulling his sword from the ground. It turned to a phone and Ian went through the options. With a click the phone turned into a handle, a handle that was attached to a huge shield with a picture of Hermes giving a thumbs up. Ian laughed and showed the shield to Dante. "Will this be good?"

OoC:You guys are moving way too fast. Its mainly you two posting. Give the others a chance to post. stragiest. I have a problem if there are any big appearences I will say so. I'll let it slide this time but don't let it happen again. Also there is no T.V. in camp.

 

IC: Jecht finally fell asleep despite the music in his ears. He awoke with a massive headache. "Note to self never play ipod while close to sleep." The ipod was dead and Jecht was rubbing his head. (OMG IT RHYMES!!! lol) After breakfast he could hardly think because of his headache. He looked around at the forest. "Okay we have Hermes, Apollo, and Aphrodite kids." Jecht didn't like the idea of having Aphrodite people on his team. He didn't have a problem personally but it was mainly girls and they usally just sat along the sidelines and gossiped with eachother. The guys would usally help but there was only three to four of them. Jecht tried to think of some kind of plan but he couldn't think straight though with his head splitting headache.

OoC:Sorry but None was posting at all yesterday! And what do you mean by Big Apperances?

 

IC: Ian looked at the shield with suprise written all over his face and pressed the inside of the handle reverting the shield to the phone. He put it in his pocket and looked at Dante eagerly. He wasn't sure why he had to be so guarded and why he couldn't do some offence. The caduces sword was pretty neat.

IC: Nikki paused, debating whether or not she should bring something else of hers. She decided that she would bring it, just in case. She then rummaged around in her bag, and came out triumphantly holding a long, pink scarf. She smiled. Then she also took a a small silver sphere on a long thread, and tied her hair back with the thread, the silver orb dangling just below her long dark hair, flashing in the sunlight. Nikki stuffed the scarf into her other pocket, and the went out to the forest to pick up several small pebbles, to be wrapped in the scarf. A little love magic ought to attract their attention She thought, fingering the scarf silently.

Dante, amazed by Ian's shape-shifting cell phone, could only say, 'Yeah. That'd probably work.'

IC: "So are we going to see the rest of the camp or what?" Ian asked as he flipped through his phone for some good battle music from the internet. He put it in his pocket settling on a KH battle tune and beginning to walk away towards the main camp is. He walked slowly so as to not be too ahead of Dante.

 

OoC:Just because i posted my own half-blood thread does not mean i will be leaving this one this is the father of my post and i leave all credit to Artemisfowl for thinking of it first!

IC: Talia looked around the beloved Camp Half-Blood. She walked to the Hephaestus table for breakfast, and she quickly ate her food. She needed to make the plans for her the Hephaestus' cabins Chariot for the chariot race on Friday. She had been so caught up in floating in memories of her first year at Camp Half-Blood. She needed to start the Chariot plans. Today. Hopefully, other demigods in her cabin had started. She felt bad about not contributing, so she decided that she would work on the Chariot plans all day. "So, what are the plans for our Chariot so far?" Talia asked her cabin mates, as they handed her a sketch for the Chariot. Talia immediately began to start sketching up new ideas on a spare piece of paper she had. She always had a pad of paper and pencil handy.

Sula walked outside of the crowd of Hermes cabin with a gaunt look on his face, it was obvious from his pale face and silver hair that he standed out when set next to the other members of his cabin. He then viewed the others with displeasure and ate his food shortly after tributing his best bits to the Gods. He glanced a bit at a boy he saw head into the forest and shifted a bit, before noticing another boy head out from his cabin and began standing himself up to search the grounds.

 

Several hours later he found himself in the training grounds, swinging a silverish blade at several training dummies, slicing them easily with one fatal swipe. "The match should be starting soon..." he muttered to himself, while tossing the chained flail at the end of his blade at another dummy, impaling it.

((Its thursday. Capture the flag today. Chariot races tomarrow.))

 

Jecht decided he would just use a straitgy he drew up over the summer and he would try to make his charoit today and tomarrow. He walked into the Arts&Crafts center aka the forge. He saw mainly Hephatus kids there were more from other cabins than usal because of the chairot races. He got his gloves and suited up to protect himself from the heat. He got out one of designs and started to get to work pouring melted metal and started hammering it, making the basix for the chariot.

But Dante had left Ian. 'Hey! Sula, right?' He asked him. 'Never seen you here before. You're probably undetermined, though. The name's Dante Brimston.' Dante held out his hand. 'Hey, nice blade. Looks kinda like mine.' Dante drew Omega, his pure white longsword. 'Course, I can't forget Nightslayer.' Dante drew his pitch-black sword as well. '"Equal opposites are useless alone." Not that I'd know. Some Athena chick told me that. I don't really get it, but hey, it works. Now then...' Dante then disemboweled two training dummies at once, and then beheaded two more pairs. 'I'm ambidex-something or other, so both of my hands have the same power. That means that Omega and Nightslayer are perfectly equal, and yet totally opposite.'

Meanwhile, (Okay, I'm getting really tired of using that word, but, I have two characters, so oh well) Nikki was collecting stones in the woods. Every time she found one, she would carefully wrap it in the pink scarf she had in her pocket, which she had convinced an Aphrodite camper to enchant for her. It really was quite pathetic She thought maliciously, Aphrodite's are so easy to manipulate.

"Hmm, my father would like those blades, gives you the choice of complete opposites or to use them together. He's Janus, the God of Choices." Sula was impressed by his companion's talent and began swinging his own blade around above his head like a flail, the chains attached to both of his weapons clattered a bit as he threw the chained blade in the center of a training dummy's "face" where his brain would have been located. "You're pretty good with the sword, which cabin are you in? You would be a helpful ally". Sula said as he disemboweled the dummy with his attached sickle. "Anyways, Silver Swan here is really improperly named, its elegance is questionable."

'Janus? Never heard of him. But, yeah. Nightslayer hides me in battle, Omega calls for help in battle. Plus, my armor,' Dante shifted his coat into armor form, 'is like a chameleon. It changes colour whichever blade is closer.' And then, Dante flung Nightslayer across the training arena. His armor started to shine brighter. 'The only problem with demonstrating is picking up after throwing them. And Silver Swan? Really? But, I don't doubt your sword is from the god of choices. You can impale your enemies, crush them, stab them, chop them, slice them, and hurt them in other ways that I can't name. Anyway, though, I'm in Aphrodite. And yet, I'm nothing like my mum. Wierd, huh?'

Nikki had finished collecting rocks, and all of her pebbles were safely stowed away in her scarf. She then started to go back, maybe to find some Aphrodite camper, or even just to sit down by the Aphrodite cabin. The proximity would probably increase the speed with which the small pebbles were charmed.

IC: Ian realized he had been walking pretty fast and had left Dante. He spun around but realized he was no where to be found. Oh well He thought walking through the forest. He made it to the big house and saw Dionysis playing a solitaire game. "Where's Chiron?" Ian asked looking around. "How am i supposed to know im not his stable maid!." and with a flick of his finger he hit Ian in the head with a grape and he felt woozy. Ian walked down to the Archery Ranges to see if Chiron was there, and surely enough...

"Pick up a bow." Chiron commanded and showed Ian proper form. "I see Dante wasn't much help showing you how camp was run was he?" Ian shook his head shooting another tree. A nymph walked out of it rubbing it's butt saying something in greek about donkeys. Ian waved apoligetically before hitting the target not in the center but off to the edge."No more like this' CHiron said hitting the bulleseye.

Bio:he traveled with a group of half bloods from Connecticut even though not a long way from camp many monsters attacked and two of his friends died twin sons of Zeus.Oddly enough his best friend is the son of Ares and his second most valuable thing is his pocket knife which is really two battle machetes chained together with thunder given to him by one of the twin sons of Zeus.his most concern is of saving his long time friend from a long time enemy.Friend: Catalina Daughter of Aphrodite Enemy: James son of Hermes.

IC: Talia walked over to the lake with her other cabin mates to continue to try to finish the sketch for the chariot. She started to think about the other cabins. "Let's see... Did we already add the Greek Bombs?" Talia said quizzically, though she knew the answer. She had just asked it to get started. "Maybe we could add something to the Golden Minotaurs pulling the Chariot... You know, so that they could fight the other creatures pulling the other cabins Chariots." Talia said thoughtfully, her mind all ready thinking of things to add and remove to improve the chariot, so that they could win the Chariot Race on Friday.

ooc: Athena, Hermes, Apollo, and Aphrodite Vs. Ares, Hephaestus, Dionysus, and whichever other cabin there is. Demeter? I dunno.

IC: 'Talia.' Dante greeted her. 'what are you doing?' He then started to, again, use his love power on Talia, just to see what would happen. 'Chariot Designs? Shouldn't you be working on making the design you have so far? The races are tomorrow. By the way, good luck in Capture the Flag today. Pity we'll be facing each other.' Then Dante walked off, smiling.

Nikki went over to the forge to make her chariot. This shouldn't be hard, she thought, it's not as if anyone can beat a chariot that I'm equipping. Then she walked shyly over to Jecht. 'Do you have a partner for the Chariot races tomorrow?' She fingered the scarf, willing its love magic to work. 'I need someone in Athena to work with. Everyone else is already paired up.'

IC: "Hello, Dante." Talia said halfheartedly, not really listening to Dante. She frantically scribbled on the pad of paper she was using. Another Hephaestus demigod told her to add the Golden Minotaur drawing. "Oh, you're right! Sorry!" Talia said to her cabin mate, starting to draw the Golden Minotaur design plans. "I am working on the Chariot design. I got a late start. And the Hephaestus is going to win this year." Talia said, trying to concentrate more on the design then on Dante. He was probably using his Aphrodite love powers, which was probably the reason why Talia was still talking to him.

Sula stared at Dante in a mixed version of disbelief and awe. "So I guess ol' Love Goddess supposes that you were a bad egg.." He muttered and then saw the small girl he was speaking too and then he pieced this and that together. "Uhh, pardon me Dante, but why exactly did you have to do that to that girl? I mean I can't really find out another way to say that the love magic was uneeded at most." He said as he followed Dante, muttering about how his friend had just said he was nothing like his mother.

'Felt like it.' Dante replied cheerfully. 'do I need any other reason? Besides, she could have given me her chariot designs. It's happened before. I don't wanna have to make them on my own. But how would you know? Are you secretly a girl?' He asked suspiciously, his eyes narrowing, 'I've only ever seen girls know when I'm using my powers... That, or you could just feel that I'm especially awesome right now. That happens to guys. Anyway...' Dante swung Omega around and hurled it to the ground right in front of a target dummy, which then broke. He also threw Nightslayer at another target, impaling it through the head. 'Yep, old mumsies probably'd hate my guts, if I wasn't so good at using the skills I got from her, as well as dad.'

Talia broke out of Dante's Aphrodite Love Magic Spell. "You what!?!" Talia said, spitting flames. ((Not literally)) Really, she had expected this to happen, especially from an Aphrodite demigod, so she wasn't exactly as mad as she would be. "Of course, the Aphrodite child doesn't want to get down and dirty." Talia said, shoving the Chariot designs to one of her fellow cabin mates. Talia still couldn't find the ability to stay angry at Dante for that long, though she wanted to. It must have been the magic charm of the Aphrodite child. "Let's just go to our cabin and draw up the plans, guys." Talia said, storming off, away from the lake.

'No, actually, I can't really figure out where you guys get all of that metal.' Dante admitted, pushing his love powers further, following Talia at a distance, just close enough for her to hear him. 'I have no clue where you guys get all of that metal you turn into chariots. And I can't really understand why there isn't anywhere to cool the metal. If you'd show me how, I'd have no trouble with it.' He smiled, using his love powers more. 'I'll even make it up to you by building your chariot, if you can supply the metal.' His eyes gleamed irresistibly.

Talia was being drawn in by Dante, Dante's melodic voice, he was really charming, even though he was an Aphrodite, the love magic had nothing to do with it, right...? One of the Hephaestus demigods, who hadn't heard Dante, being farther ahead, had snapped Talia out of the love trance by shaking her around. Talia tried her best to not listen to Dante, he was just trying to use her so he wouldn't have to build a suitable chariot for the Aphrodite cabin himself, but he was so dreamy, he was so sweet, he wasn't using her... Again, one of her cabin mates, actually, the same Hephaestus demigod that had snapped her out of the love magic before, helped her snap out of it.
