Quick-Play Spell Card

-Card Effect-

Activate only if a monster you control is destroyed by battle. Reduce the ATK and DEF of 1 monster on the field to 1000 and negate its effect until your End Phase. During the turn you activated this card, you can pay 500 Life Points to add 1 "Necro Skull Attack" from your Deck to your hand. If there is 3 "Necro Skull Attack" in your Graveyard, you can pay 500 to return them to your Deck.[/align]

Great pic, useful effect. Although, I wouldn't say "reduce to 1000", because what if there ATK/DEF is already below 1000? I can understand it but, wouldn't make sense in that situation. Should say "make that monster's ATK and DEF 1000." or something along those lines.

8.5/10

I was thinking in a easy way to destroy Suncrho Monsters' date=' by reducing it's ATK and sealing their effects.

[/quote']

Ways to do this dependably and without losing monsters:

Spin with;

Compulsory Evac Device

Scrambler thing

Penguin Solider

Morphing Jar #2

Brio

Destroy with;

Ab-Zero

Torrential

Mirror Force

Bottomlesss

Otherwise remove with;

D-Prison

Honest

Shrink

If you're really having trouble removing Synchros, you're making your Deck wrong =/ People in Realistic act like they're much more powerful than they actually are. TBH, this is more useful against some of the lolATK Synchros around and things Summoned with Hard Armed Dragon than against Synchros, but still, nothing would use this.

Not really trying to build a "Anti" Synchro Deck. Just tried to make a card that can seal a monster effect, and then, by a cost, use it over and over again. I hate Synchro, but in a really, my Deck doesn't have card that stop them. I play the "old" Yu-Gi-Oh" style, where Synchros don't have a place.

Prediciton

Stage One Everyone will Shock' date=' Awe, and create Ideas.

[b']Stage Two[/b] Everyone will claim it's a dumb gimmick that won't affect the meta one bit.

Stage Three Konami will inevitably make a couple Synchro Tuners/Accel Synchros that are Generic and Broken, Everyone will play them.

Stage Four Players will claim they ruined the game, that this games sucks, and hope for the anti-cards but still continue to play.

Stage Five They eventually just become part of the game and no one pays anymore attention to thier existence then any other card type. By this point, there will be a new mechanic/set of rules.

Just like what happened with Synchros

So many people in Realistic are in Stage Four.

They're just a part of the game, they can be used in every Deck with almost no changes, only 1-3 cards, often, and there isn't really such a thing as a "Synchro Deck" as many people seem to think. When I make old-themed Decks, such as Batterymen, Frogs, or Graveykeepers, it's often only sensible to include some synchros. Why you would dislike them or avoid them is beyond me. They're just a part of the game.

OT: Things like Shrink are still better, since the activation requirements here are far too steep.
