Right, so after my last post on YCM I've been inspired to create this thread. Forget Pokémon YCM, especially considering YCM fails anyway. I won't call it Pokémon SAW, but that is effectively what this will be.

 

I want you guys to give me as many good, unique ideas as you can, within limitation as this'll be made on FireRed.

 

 

Plot

 

Legendary Dragons that roam the skies... one of Thunder, and the other of Water. Electia, the Thunder Dragon, is said to control the weather of the skies. Untrawos, the Water Dragon, is said to control the very seas we swim in. Of course, this only goes for the regions of [diverse] and [rural]. If they were ever to do battle, a thunderstorm that could sweep away both regions is said to take place, only to be stopped by the legendary Dark Dragon. But of course, that is just legend.

 

You are a young boy of 13 living in the region of [diverse], currently residing in the small town of [starter town]. Today is the day you receive your first Pokémon from PROF. CLOVER, a small-town professor that lives in a small house in your town. You take your Pokémon, out of three choices- Easen, Easan and Frozolar and set out on your Pokémon Adventure!

 

However, while you're out hunting for Gym Badges, a scheme is being taken place by Team Dusk to capture the two legendary dragons and take their power for their own. However, a team looking for a similar yet very different goal, Team Dawn attempt to stop them. When Team Dusk finally captures the two Pokémon, the Pokémon Trainer Xavier (a famous Pokémon Trainer who has defeated the Elite Four) stops them.

 

What will happen as your paths collide?

 

[This is just a rough draft. If you can write Plots, then send me your idea for a Plot in a PM. I'll incorporate it into the storyline.]

 

 

Features

 

Two regions, both unique. I'm thinking one hot/diverse and the other more rural.

Banks in every town.

24 new Pokémon, 9 will be starters (no Sinnoh pokes aside Darkrai).

Hopefully, unique tiles including buildings. We'll see who will help.

Every member of SAW is entitled to a place in the game. The more active you are, and moreso how much you do for the hack- the higher level Pokémon you will have and a higher placement in the game you'll have. Fill out the below app.

Description: A small bird with a sharp beak. It is light beige in colour and chirps happily.

Bird Pokémon

Description: A rather larger bird, with wings that can fly further than a meter off the ground. It is known for it's lethal beak and harmful nature.

Bird Pokémon

Description: A huge eagle-like bird, with giant wings and a golden beak. It's sharp and furious eyes can see from almost a mile away, and are said to have a hallucination effect. Easagle are generally avoided as they attack almost any human that they come near.

Type: Flying, Psychic

Superpower Pokémon

Description: A small, brown creature that stands on two legs. It has a white band tied around his head and often takes a fighting pose.

Type: Fighting

[spoiler=5. Karatakso] (evolve at Lv. 36 to Karaskote)

Superpower Pokémon

Description: A bigger Karasko, maintaining almost all of it's features will being clearly bigger and stronger. It has a fierce look on it's face and what looks like fingerless gloves on it's hands.

Type: Fighting

Superpower Pokémon

Description: Also clearly part of the Kara family, as it retains a lot of features from both of it's pre-evos. However, it is a lot bigger and has clear, strong muscles. It wears a headband, gloves, and white tape across it's arms, legs and feet. It is distinguished from it's predecessor mainly through it's large dark, black eyes.

Type: Fighting, Dark

Bear Pokémon

Description: A white, polar bear-like creature with large blue eyes, that has ice on it's hands and feet. It crawls rather than walks, and it is rather clueless and often wonders around.

Type: Ice

Moves: ---

Polar Bear Pokémon

Description: A small polar bear-like creature, with big teeth and and an icy body. It can stand on two feet, it has large ears, and blue eyes. It retains most of Frozola's features, including the eyes and the ice on the hands and feet.

Type: Ice

Polar Bear Pokémon

Description: A massive polar bear-like creature, with extremely sharp teeth and claws. It is almost completely covered in his, with strong ice on the hands and feet. It looks extremely strong and stands mightily on two feet.

Type: Ice, Fighting

Tiny Ant Pokémon

Description: A tiny ant-like bug, with small red eyes and six legs. It has a small horn on it's head, and a striped pattern across it's back.

Type: Bug

Moves: Tackle, String Shot

Power: 3

Long Leg Pokémon

Description: A big ant-like creature, with clearly visible six legs and large red eyes. It can only be explained as a bigger version of Tisant with a larger, black horn on it's head, and sharp teeth.

Type: Bug

Moves: Tackle, String Shot, Poison Sting, Bite, Spider Web, Thief, Double-Edge

Power: 6

Long Leg Pokémon

Description: A giant ant-like creature, with a massive body and legs. It's giant horn on it's head is said to produce dark energy, and is avoided. It has big, sharp teeth that can pierce through almost anything.

Type: Bug, Dark

Moves: Tackle, String Shot, Poison Sting, Bite, Spider Web, Thief, Double-Edge, Snatch, Crunch

Power: 8

Gas Pokémon

Description: A black ghost with huge eyes, a giant smile and a haunting look- people who have seen it are said to be doomed with bad luck. It has a smoky fire surrounding it like gas.

Type: Ghost, Fire

Moves: ---

Power: 7.5

Flycatcher Pokémon

Description: An almost large plant-like creature, with several vines coming out of it's trunk body. It has a long neck and a peculiar head that has fire across the top of it. It is said to be the only plant with any capabilities of producing fire.

Type: Fire, Grass

Moves: ---

Power: 7

Psi Pokémon

Description: A medium-sized pink Pokémon, with bright orange eyes that are said to hypnotize. It has the unique ability to produce electric from it's human-like hands. It is often compared to Kadabra in terms of looks.

Type: Psychic, Electric

Moves: ---

Power: 7

Electric Horse Pokémon

Description: A Pokémon slightly below average size. It has a green body, and walks on four small horse-like legs. It has small, green wings that are incapable of flying. It's main feature is it's two antenna's on it's head, which makes it capable of producing electricity.

Type: Grass, Electric

Iron Fish Pokémon

Description: A large, silver Pokémon with a body like a long rock. Surprisingly, it has gills and small fins which let it swim in water. It has a metal outer shell which provides brilliant defence.

Type: Steel, Water

Moves: ---

Power: 7

Mud Pokémon

Description: A large brown creature that lives in the ground and mud. It seems like a grassy plant-like Pokémon until it reveals it's rocky (and muddy) body. It is said to have an aggressive nature.

Type: Grass, Ground

Power: 8

Psychic Moth Pokémon

(evolve from Venonat by Sun Stone)

Description: A large moth Pokémon that is often compared to Venomoth in terms of looks, however they look very different. Psyomoth is light red in colour, and lacks Venomoth's wings. It has a bigger body and looks much more like Venonat on it's body, and it's red eyes.

Type: Poison, Psychic

Flying Rock Pokémon

Description: A giant brown, rocky Pokémon, with a long tail and bird-like body. It is compared to Flygon in terms of looks, even though the two look obviously different. It has large rocky wings that can cause hard, deadly attacks.

Type: Rock, Flying

Moves: ---

Dragon Pokémon

Description: A large dragon creature with similar features to Dragonite, Salamence and Moltres. It is as large as Dragonite, and has huge wings that match it's size, which are bursting with fire. It has a large mouth and extremely sharp teeth.

Type: Dragon, Fire

Power: 9 (pseudo-legendary)

Description: A massive dragon, bigger than both of the other two Legendary Dragons. It has a large, black scaled body and a deadly spiked tail. It is surrounded by black mist, and it has cold black eyes.

Type: Dragon, Dark

Description: To protect itself, it afflicts those around it with nightmares. However, it means no harm.

Type: Dark

Moves: Night Shade (Lv. 1), Disable (Lv. 1), Quick Attack (Lv. 11), Shadow Ball (Lv. 15), Hypnosis (Lv. 20), Pursuit (Lv. 29), Future Sight (Lv. 34), Nightmare (Lv. 38), Double Team (Lv. 47), Dream Eater (Lv. 55)

That was for moves, I thought you were more important than that. D: Plus, it's on SAW and you aren't active over there.

 

And yeah, with the exception of the 3rd evo in the chain who has a second type... ;)

Yeah, sure. I plan to mash everything together from whatever anyone gives me, so feel free to write up a plot.

I do, I really do. :D

 

Yeah, two regions, something that sets us apart from everything else. Much more like GSC, my favourite generation. I'm going to ask someone else to make the Sprites, there's no way I could sprite. xD And yeah, of course, all FireRed features will stay. I never take away; only add.

 

Keep an eye out, and come on SAW for stuff too. ;)

I thought so, I knew most of the time I've known you, you hacked or whatever (I may be wrong, I've known you for quite a while).

 

I like the two regions idea, GSC was my favorite generation as well or at least tied with 4th gen. I'm not sure I have a account on SAw or not, but I'll defiantly be keeping a eye on this.

Oh I was also think of the top posters or Legends of SAW, mean like the people who stay with SAW for all it remakes

 

This works too, I mean it has been through quite a lot of remakes and stuff now.

 

Original - Forummotion

Second - IPBFree, roughly the same crowd of people, but more

Third - Webhost, SAW on MyBB. This is the huge SAW that didn't last

Fourth - SAW on MyBB, remade

Four point five - Rebirth after death

 

Using what you think... Icyblue, Icemasteralex, Meti (very obviously), Slash and the current staff definitely deserve spots.

Yeah, if I recall I was even hacking slightly during our time at Forummotion. I should add you to the above list too, considering you were with us on Forummotion and I think IPBFree.

 

And yeah, same here. Also, if you haven't then you should make one. We're really picking up on the activity. ;D

I certainly hope it was @me, there's no-one else talking in this thread. xD Yeah it is pretty funny, we've known each other for AGES when you think about it. Like, almost two years now... lol. I think you do, but I'm not sure. Try a couple of your usernames and if you don't have one then create one. =]
