Zeaux
Violet Emerald Continuous Trap Card -Card Effect- After activation, Special Summon this card in Defense Position; it is treated as a Effect Monster Card (Rock-Type/LIGHT/Level 4/ATK 0/DEF 2200). This card's Battle Position cannot change. The controller of this card selects the targets of their opponent's attacks. If this card is removed from the field by a card effect your opponent controls, inflict damage to either players equal to the Level of the monster with the highest ATK on the field x200. (This card is still treated as a Trap Card.)
Choke
Very original effect. Although, a "Violet Emerald"? Emeralds are naturally green from my knowledge o.o. Should say Amethyst or something. Anyways, good card, useful. 9/

-Griffin
Emeralds are usually depicted as green, yeah xD Well, I guess it's an interesting stall card with generic "can't beat this by battle" monsters and such. Doesn't seem to be anything special, though. Not really usable in an awful lot of places.

Phanax Leminer
Aiku: Emeralds are... Zeaux: SHUT IT, I KNOW!!!Aiku: ): OCG: Nothing to complain. Effect: It must be because of the power of this special emerald that you can change the attacks, right? I knew it! It must be the shininess that distract the monsters! (...) Seriously, the overall balance between the effect is good and the price to pay to make the purple emerald is to be burn if you it destroys while you have the highest ATK when it's destroy by a card effect. Good enough. Image and Name: Fine perfectly with the name, effect and image. Overall: 8.6/
