Doomsday Heroes

What I am to present to you is a monster archetype known as the Doomsday Heroes, to which most, of not all, of them are Zombie counterparts of the Destiny Heroes used by Aster Phoenix in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime. They are used by the main protagonist in a fan fiction I'm currently writing, which I might post on here, if the forum will let me.

 

Okay, sure they may be just a bunch of spin-off cards with some unfair effects, but I still hope you enjoy them! :)

 

Alright, here they are:

 

Doomsday Hero – Dread Fighter

DARK/Zombie – Effect/3/900/900

During the Battle Phase of the turn you Normal Summon this card, you can have it gain 1000 ATK until the end of the Battle Phase.

Doomsday Hero – Spirit Daemon

DARK/Zombie – Effect/6/?/?

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 1 "Doomsday Hero" monster from your Graveyard whose ATK and DEF are each 1000 or less. This card's original ATK and DEF are respectively the removed monster's ATK and DEF + 1000

Doomsday Hero – Crystal Rogue

DARK/Zombie – Effect/4/1200/1800

When this card is Summoned, remove from play the top card of your Deck. This card's effect becomes the appropriate effect, based on the removed card's type:

● Monster: Switch the original ATK and DEF of this card.

● Spell: This card cannot be destroyed by battle while it is in Attack Position.

● Trap: When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, destroy the monster that destroyed it.

Doomsday Hero – Makyuron

DARK/Zombie – Effect/4/1600/1200

During the turn this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, except when destroyed by battle, its controller can activate 1 Normal Trap Card from their hand.

Doomsday Hero – Necro Enchanter

DARK/Zombie – Tuner/3/1000/1000

This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Doomsday Hero" monster from your Graveyard in face-up Defense Position. That monster's effect(s) is negated.

Doomsday Hero – Nightmare Master

DARK/Zombie – Synchro – Effect/7/2600/1800

1 "Doomsday Hero" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Doomsday Hero" monsters

This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. All Battle Damage your opponent takes from a battle involving this monster becomes 0. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster.

Doomsday Hero – Batwing Gale

DARK/Zombie – Effect/4/1800/500

When a Trap Card is activated, you can return this face-up card on the field to its owner's hand.

Doomsday Hero – Coil Chain

DARK/Zombie – Tuner/2/800/500

If this card is sent to the Graveyard for the Synchro Summon of a "Doomsday Hero" Synchro Monster, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls.

Doomsday Hero – Underworld Gainer

DARK/Zombie – Effect/4/1600/0

During your Main Phase 1, you can remove this card from play and select 1 face-up Zombie-Type monster you control. That monster can attack twice during each Battle Phase. Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position during your 2nd Standby Phase after activation.

Doomsday Hero – Necro Wing

DARK/Zombie – Effect/6/2200/1200

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until after the Damage Step.

Doomsday Hero – Shadow Slasher

DARK/Zombie – Synchro – Effect/6/1800/1200

1 "Doomsday Hero" Tuner + 1 non-Tuner "Doomsday Hero" monster

This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Synchro Summon. When this card is Synchro Summoned, it gains ATK equal to half the ATK of the non-Tuner "Doomsday Hero" monster used to Summon it, until the End Phase. Once per turn, after this card attacks, it can attack once more if your opponent controls a monster. During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent.

Doomsday Hero – Warp Fighter

DARK/Zombie – Effect/4/2200/600

You can only control 1 "Doomsday Hero – Warp Fighter". Once per turn, this card can move to an unoccupied Monster Card Zone. This card can only attack monsters that are in the same column as this card. This card can only attack directly when they control no monsters.

Over Doomsday

Spell/Normal

Remove from play 1 "Doomsday Hero" monster from your Graveyard. Special Summon 1 "Doomsday Hero" monster from your Deck whose Level is lower than or equal to half the removed monster's Level. The Special Summoned monster is destroyed at the end of this turn.

Speed Spell – Doomsday Flux

Spell/Normal

Activate only if you have 7 or more Speed Counters, and if you control a face-up Level 7 or higher "Doomsday Hero" monster. Destroy all monsters OR all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls. Inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card destroyed by this effect. If you destroyed all monsters with this effect, you cannot declare an attack this turn.

Sign of Doomsday

Trap/Normal

Activate only when a monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Doomsday Hero" monster from your hand or Deck.

Wrath of Doomsday

Trap/Continuous

When a "Doomsday Hero" monster you control is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

Revenge of Doomsday

Trap/Normal

Select 3 "Doomsday Hero" monsters in your Graveyard. Return them to the Deck, then draw 2 cards.

Doomsday Barrier

Trap/Normal

Activate only when Attack Position "Doomsday Hero" monster you control is selected as an attack target. Change that monster to Defense Position and equip it with this card (this card becomes an Equip Card). The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle.

Doomsday Counterstrike

Trap/Counter

Activate only when a face-up "Doomsday Hero" monster you control is selected as an attack target. Destroy the attacking monster.

I have plenty more monster archetypes where that came from, and I might post them on here, if you're all lucky! Hopefully, the next archetype I post on here will be better than this one (or not XD).

I've decided to modify Doomsday Hero - Makyuron a bit, just to make it seem less broken. Here we go:

 

Doomsday Hero - Makyuron

DARK/Zombie - Effect/4/1600/1200

During the turn this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard, except when destroyed by battle, its controller can activate 1 Normal Trap Card from their hand. This effect can only be used during your turn.
