morfowt
if nothing else I love the archetype name. real creative. for messenger, I believe the correct way of saying it is "this card cannot be removed from the field, except for a Synchro Summon." I would like to add that gladiator beasts would probably love going against this... Link to comment
Lonk
Thanks:) I fixed the errors, and this can ironically give GB support since it can return some of your own cards to your Deck. I think if this was real, I think a theme would be "Monsoon Gladiators" Link to comment
nabby101
I think these cards are WAY too broken. Get a field spell in play with Field Barrier andd your pretty much unstoppable. No offence, but these are too good.8/10 Link to comment
Lonk
Funny thing is that one of the Monsoon monsters acts as a field barrier:) Thanks for your criticism though:D Link to comment
Lonk
Added a new monster Link to comment
Umbra
Monsoon Tidal Behemoth has to be the definition of overpowered. Massive search capability combined with field clearance that dodges Stardust - each turn? Not to mention that it's easy to summon: Gravity Pike + Rescue Cat into double Monsoon Cat will do. I say remake that card from scratch. Apart from that, this looks like a good set with many possibilities. Link to comment
Lonk
Thanks. I will fix the problem right now Link to comment
Des HERO
Monsoon makes me think of Bangladesh, poor homeless people. Anyway onto topic.Monsoon ice breaker seems a little overpowered. However, synchro summoning I is hard what would balance it a little. I would say true non stopping heavy rain. Link to comment
Umbra
Thanks. I will fix the problem right now Except you didn't, really: It's still practically costless barely-negatable monster removal, once per turn. If I were you, I would change it to "When this card is Synchro Summoned" rather than "Once per turn". Link to comment
Lonk
I fixed Monsoon ice breaker a little bit. Now you need to pay 2000 Life Points to activate his field clearing effect. That would help some more with his effect. Thanks for the suggestion Umbra:) Link to comment
Lonk
I added 4 more cards Link to comment
Umbra
I just realized that Monsoon Wave is a combination of Dark Hole and Pot of Greed, only somehow MORE overpowered. Just... re-do. Link to comment
Lonk
I redid it and over-underpowered it. Link to comment
TheShedinjA
I don't know why, but I don't like the effect of "Water Rush" it is a Bit overpowered.. think about it...A Dark Bribe with a kind of benefit for you, with no cost or restriction and add the effect of moving a monster to your hand from your deck after the card´s effect is resolved... it´s like: you activate it and negate whatever S/T your opponent activates, then you return a moonsoon monster I suppose, then you add the same monster to your hand or even a powerful one. Is to MUCH benefit for you in 1 card come one, re-do it. Link to comment
Lonk
I got rid of the additional effect. That should balance it out. Link to comment
