This card's effect cannot be negated by a card you control. You can Normal Summon or Set this card without Tribute. If you Tribute Summon this card, you must Tribute 3 monsters. If this card is Summoned or Set this card except by Tribute Summon, its ATK and DEF become 1/3 of its original ATK and DEF. This card's Type is also treated as Aqua, Beast, Beast-Warrior, Dinosaur, Dragon, Fairy, Fiend, Fish, Insect, Machine, Plant, Psychic, Pyro, Reptile, Rock, Sea Serpent, Spellcaster, Thunder, Warrior, Winged Beast, and Zombie. If this card battles a monster with the same Type as this card (except Divine-Beast), you can pay 500 Life Points and have this card not treated as that Type to destroy that monster without performing damage calculation. Rulings: The "Set" in this card's text is not only applying to Normal Sets, so if it is flipped face-down by "Book of Moon", its ATK and DEF will be 1500 and 750 when it's flipped face-up. Its effect applies at the start of the Damage Step, and will not activate if attacked face-down or if it battles a face-down monster. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
