~Kip~
Intro: The weirdest way to power up monsters, returning your opponent's cards to the Deck? That's what this Deck is all about. But I ask you this, tired of generic monster revival cards? Tired of Zombies quickly gaining field advantage? Then this Deck is right for you. This deck contains 26 new cards, all of which might just help you during battle. Cover Card: Montezuma, King of the Aztecs [spoiler=Monster Cards:] Montezuma, King of the Aztecs (EARTH)**********Beast-Warrior / Effect This card gains 100 ATK and DEF points for every card remaining in your opponent's Deck. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you may return all cards in your opponent's Graveyard to their Deck. Their Deck is then shuffled. ATK / 0 DEF / 0 Aztec Archer (EARTH) x2***Beast-Warrior / Effect Once per turn, you can return 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls to their Deck. Their Deck is then shuffled. ATK / 1200 DEF / 750 Aztec Warrior (EARTH) x2****Beast-Warrior / Effect When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can return 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard to their Deck. Their Deck is then shuffled. ATK / 1400 DEF / 1300 Aztec Pikeman (EARTH)****When your opponent has 25 or more cards in their Deck, this card gains the following effect:- When your opponent controls at least 2 Defense Position monsters, this card can attack your opponent directly. ATK / 1100 DEF / 1000 Aztec Bodyguard (EARTH)***Beast-Warrior / Union Once per turn, you can equip this card to an "Aztec" monster you control, or "Montezuma, King or the Aztecs", OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up ATK position. While equipped to a monster, you can return 1 card from your opponent's hand to their Deck to negate the activation of a Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster's effect that would destroy this card and destroy that card. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead.) ATK / 200 DEF / 1100 Aztec Eagle Warrior (EARTH)*****You can Special Summon this card from your hand while you control no monsters and your opponent controls a monster. Once per turn, by returning 1 random card in your opponent's hand to the bottom of their Deck, you can look at your opponent's hand. ATK / 2000 DEF / 1900 [spoiler=Spells:] The Great Aztec ArmyNormal Spell Card Activate only when your opponent has 35 or more cards in their Deck. Return all cards on your opponent's side of the field to their Deck. Their Deck is then shuffled. [spoiler=Traps:]Aztec Battle CryNormal Trap Card Activate only when your opponent declares an attack against a face-up "Montezuma, King of the Aztecs", or a face-up "Aztec" monster you control. It is now the End Phase. NOT DONE!!! Link to comment
jack781217
Great idea. I'll put down some of my opinions: Aztec WarriorWhen this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can return your opponent's hand to their Deck. Their Deck is then shuffled. Set this card face-down and you can easily wipe you opponent's hand. I see it OP'ed. Aztec Eagle Warrior*****You can Special Summon this card from your hand while you control no monsters and your opponent controls a monster. Once per turn, by returning 1 card in your opponent's hand to the bottom of their Deck, you can draw 2 cards. Though Level 5, you can still easily summon this card. Gaining 2 card at the expense of your opponent's is definitely OP'ed. The Great Aztec ArmyNormal Spell CardActivate only when your opponent has 30 or more cards in their Deck. Return all cards on your opponent's side of the field to their Deck. Their Deck is then shuffled.I don't think having 30 cards in your opponent's Deck is that difficult a condition. As this card is almost a free Crystal Abundance, OP'ed Aztec Battle CryNormal Trap CardActivate only when your opponent declares an attack against a face-up "Montezuma, King of the Aztecs", or a face-up "Aztec" monster you control. It is now the End Phase.the wording...well, I don't know how to fix it either... ================================================= In the end, I find 1 major flaw about this deck's theme. Returning cards from your opponent's graveyard/remove from play to their Deck is ok. Return 1 or two cards from your opponent's side of field or hand to their deck at a cost is also ok. But massively wiping your opponent's field and hand is too much. If you don't be careful, "hand and field wiping" will be this deck's main theme, rather than "return card to your opponent's Deck". (well, if that IS what you think this deck should do, then I can't say much) Link to comment
~Kip~
does that help at all? Link to comment
jack781217
looks better to me (hopefully to you also)though individual cards may still need some changes as the archetype develops, 9/10 for the overall idea it so happens that I also have an archetype around the idea of returning cards to Deck. if focus on returning cards in your own hand to your Deck instead though = =+ Link to comment
