Paschen8r
I'm not sure if the bans are the same for real life duels as they are in Yu-gi-oh online so bear with me. This is my dragon deck that seems to work really well against most decks, it does have it's flaws and I would appreciate some constructive criticism. Monsters Normal- 3x Blue Eyes White Dragon (Fodder for Future Fusion combined with Dragon's Mirror to bring out BEUD).Effect-1x Sangan-1x Morphing Jar-1x Armageddon Knight-1x Axe Dragonute-2x Blizzard Dragon-2x Exploder Dragon-2x Phantom Of Chaos-3x Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon-1x Prime Material Dragon-1x Infernal Dragon-3x Dark Horus-1x Dark Armed Dragon Total = 22 Monsters. jabber2033
Banlists still must be followed, even online. If you're using YVD, then it follows the current TCG banlist, found in IMPORTANT THREADS in this section. Of course, the only banned cards you have are Card of SR and Crush Card... -1 Dark Hex (not needed unless specifically focusing on King Dragon)-1 Lord of D (See Dark Hex)-1 Exploder-1 Breaker (Good, but doesn't fit with the theme)-1 The Calculator (not needed)-1 Phantom of Chaos(is Semi-Limited; 2 copies per deck) +3 Dark Horus+2 Red-Eyes Wyvern (use with REDMD)+1 Blizzard Dragon -2 DDR-1 Smashing Ground +3 Trade-In (For draw. Your deck needs draw. Use with BEWD and Dark Horus) -2 Dragon's Rage +1 Bottomless Trap Hole (from side deck)+1 Torrential Tribute And try putting Dark Armed Dragon and Burial from a DD in your main deck. They're much better mained. Why they're sided, I have no idea. Since you are dueling online, you should have access to EVERY SINGLE TCG CARD EVER RELEASED so you should be able to make those changes. burnpsy
Yu-Gi-Oh! Online =/= YVD jabber, you may want to look it up before talking about it. >___>
jabber2033
Yu-Gi-Oh! Online =/= YVD jabber' date=' you may want to look it up before talking about it. >___>[/quote'] I just thought he meant Yu-Gi-Oh! the card game itself. He didn't capilitalize "online" in his post so i was a little confused. But my changes are still valid, right?
burnpsy
They should be. That said, YGO Online still lacks Synchros and such, so it may also be missing the stuff you mentioned. Ah well, he'll say it if that's the case.
Paschen8r
Yes, this is the case, this is a my bad situation lol I meant Yugioh Online Duel Evolution. There are several things I can and can't do. In Yugioh Online, Crush Card is not banned but limited and POC is not limited, also Red Eyes Wyvern is not in the game. COSR is also limited to 1. I have run DAD in the past and i find that hes really hard to get out with this deck. However the POC's help alot I will probably put him back in. I'll work on getting some trade-in's too. To make up for the Wyvern's i put in cards like the Calculator and Lord of D. Any replacements for Wyvern?
jabber2033
For DAD, if you have too many monsters in the grave or get them in too quickly, run Pot of Avarice. Not only does it give you back cards, it reduces the cards in your grave so you can bring out DAD and lets you draw. What's not to love about that? As for Wyvern...Armageddon Knight? Dark Grepher? Maybe more Infernal Dragon?
Paschen8r
Yes, your changes are for the most part valid jabber.Actually, I have tried those cards, and I think it brings the deck as a focus toward DAD instead of the Future Fusion REDMD strategy that is the original focus. DAD is more of a I'll summon it if I can type thing. I like Infernal Dragon and I think I would include that, what wuld say to Darkblaze Dragon. jabber2033
No to Darkblaze. It sucks. There are better cards. And DAD isn't meant to be the focus (not since TeleDAD decks got killed anyway) but a highly splashable staple in decks that run a decent amount of DARK monsters. Paschen8r
Thanks for the help, I have one more question. One of my favourite things to do in this deck is use Future Fusion to put REDMD in the graveyard and then use POC on it. Then after that use DDR on the freshly removed REDMD to essentially get 4 monsters. Do you think keeping a DDR or 2 in the deck is useful considering you sound like a sesoned veteran to the Dragons. jabber2033
Could be. Test it out and try it. That said, could you edit the deck in your first post so I can see what changes you made?
Paschen8r
I updated it, but I left CCV in because it's not banned in the game.
jabber2033
46 cards seems still too much…try cutting it down to 40. Right now I can think of -1 Solemn (I don’t see this useful unless it’s at 3)-1 Reasoning (not needed since you’re relying on REDMD)-1 Prime Material Dragon (Looks odd at 1 and not really need here)-1 Swords of RL (You should be overwhelming the opponent with 2800+ ATK beatsticks. No Need for stall)-1 CCV (It's good, but you only have 3 targets for this: Sangan and PoC. Not enough) That brings you down to 41. Trust me, it will be much more consistent that way. With less cards, you’ll be able to draw the cards you need easier. Try getting 1 more out to make it an even 40. Testing it can help you figure that out. jabber2033
As a final note, I looked over the Yugioh Online ban list and saw that Allure of Darkness was Semi-Limited. Try finding room for a pair of those. You can never have enough draw. It'll also make DDR actually worth using.
