Theseus
Well, I wouldn't technically consider Hades an Olympian, considering he rarely leaves the Underworld.
Akumakagemaru
Point taken. Still he is of their generation, and one of the big three, along with Zeus and Poseiden, so I consider him to be an Olympian. Easier than trying to call him something else, isn't it? Theseus
Yes I suppose so, but I'm highly anal about what I call the gods, especially since some of them would barely classify as gods. But the Greeks divided love into 6 (i believe) different dieties.
Akumakagemaru
Yes, I agree with that. There are so many minor deities it's hard to keep track properly. I mainly consider the following to be the Olympians: Zeus, Poseiden, Hades, Hermes, Ares, Athena, Hephaestus, Artemis, Apollo, Bacchus, Aphrodite, and...well, I forget...dang, I need a refresher... Akumakagemaru
Ah, thank you. I tend to discount Hera when i count the Olympians, for some reason...

Dark
Greek and Roman mythology are probably the most interesting of the bunch. Or... maybe I'm just reading Percy Jackson too much. D:

Yes, there are some flaws, but at the very least it gets people into Greek mythology; I myself was already a fan of various mythologies years before. I first loved Egyptian mythology after The Mummy was released, and after playing Age Of Mythology, my interests expanded even further. Off-topic again, sorry. Regardless, I say the flaws are mroe than worth it to see more and more people looking into the real myths.

CinnamonStar
Glad to see a serious thread about this, I hate how Greek Paganism is shown in the media. Like stupid fairytales even though it's been alive longer than Christianity and still standing.T_TNot saying it's real, it's mythology after all, but the non-real stories are pretty original. Well I like all ancient mythologies but Hellenic, Etruscan and Mesopo own a special place in my heart, yup.~ My favourites are Nyx and Hecate and I hate Zeus.D=

Godot
I hate him because he's on top, is stubborn, and...I just don't like him. xD I really don't know. It's not that I really Hate him. It's just, as you said, my least favorite God. The only good thing he did was make Apollo though, IMO.

He's the god of Light, Music, Truth, the Lyre, and Prophecy, as well as the companion to the Muses. Weren't they the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne (sp?), or Memory?
