The Big Question

Its irrelevant to life. There.

It's just an open question. It has lots of interesting based arguments.

This brings up certain debates such as who decided what is good, how do we know that good exists, does good exist in our minds or is there a set law from a greater force... etc.

Good point, what about Immanuel Kant's theory of generalization.

If it can't be universalized, it's not an ethical act.

Like if everybody stole things, nothing would work, if everyone murdered, no one would be safe, if everybody helped each other when they needed it, people would be better off, if everyone donated a small amount to charity regularly, then people would be happier... etc

In the hero's opinion (example: Ash) the bad guys (example: Team Rocket) are bad. But seen from the bad guy's position, they are the good ones and the actual hero is the bad one.

So yes, it terribly depends on your point of view. Good is everything supporting your way, ideals, luck, ...

Bad is everything disabling it.

Does your opinion count for you?

If yes, write the thesis.

If not, write another sentence.

What is good?

I believe that everything that is good is anything that shall not harm you, or preferrably anything that can help you achieve an end, cause some sort of happiness, works effectively, or cause a "temporary happiness". (For lack of better term that won't be mistaken for sexual relations.)
