obviously it'll depend on the monster stats, but I find that effect just to determine its stats is a bit dull. You should give this another effect

Dull maybe. But giving it another effect is OP. For example, since this card let's you discard a monster card in your opponent's hand, you can get a possible 2500+ ATK monster right off the bat! As I see it, it's good as is.

Maybe somebody should tell him how the correct OCG would look like? I'll do it then.
