Akumakagemaru
I'm making a strategy game based on the anime (not manga) Code Geass. I'm going to hold a round-robin style tournament - the top prize being 50 Points - and I need to know where to place it. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, which is why I'm posting this first. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Akumakagemaru
Hmm? You mean the place to ask th is question, I take it? I thought about it, but I though that Gneral might be a safer bet. Of course, I'm also a bit overcautious, I'll admit. Im' used to my posts being rewarded with an online attack, regardless of content, from the MMO I play.
Theseus
The place to ask this question would be the Questions and Help section because this has nothing to do with questions, but general discussion. Kthxbai.
Akumakagemaru
Ahhh, I see...thank you. I don't suppose you'd be interested in playing, would you? It's a mentally intensive game (or at least the final version will be), and you remind me of a friend of mine, brilliant, who's whelping form the game itelf. Theseus
Well, I did once enjoy the anime, so I'll see if I like it or not, so I'll maybe play it in the future and give you my feedback.
Akumakagemaru
Thank you, I appreciate it. It's hard to find people who can appreciate the intensity required of a truew strategist, and who can understand the feats of logic and mental acuity from the show. .Requiem
Thank you' date=' I appreciate it. The only spectacular feat that Lelouch accomplished was collapsing the ground under his opponent and blow them all way with his laser.
Akumakagemaru
I'm referring to his manipulation of people, understanding how they would react, and countering them. I love combat, yes, but my first and truest love is the elegance of steering a much more powerful foe right where you want him, and using his own strength against him. Lelouch wasn't perfect, he was beaten several times, but he learned, which is the greatest asset one can have.
.Requiem
All it is, is another Sherlock Holmes theme. Able to figure out everything about the person and then do something about it. Also isn't being beat by someone and learning basically any part of story with the main character?
Akumakagemaru
Yes, but usually it's just life lessons, or fighting. I've never seen an anime with as much of a focus on strategy before.
.Requiem
Hm....... Death Note. Yep.
Theseus
Well, Death Note, you could classify under anti-Sherlock Holmes where Holmes was working to solve the crimes while Light was committing them. Honestly, Death Note wasn't that complex.
.Requiem
Neither was Code Geass, anyway it would be easier if you post the rules and layout of the game before you would gain any players.
Akumakagemaru
Well' date=' Death Note, you could classify under anti-Sherlock Holmes where Holmes was working to solve the crimes while Light was committing them. Honestly, Death Note wasn't that complex.[/quote'] I agree with this. Death note, while brilliant in its own way (and more fun for me sometimes, as it allowed you to follow the thought processes), wasn't quite on par with Code Geass, at least in terms of scale. Neither was Code Geass' date=' anyway it would be easier if you post the rules and layout of the game before you would gain any players.[/quote'] I'll be adding them soon. I already have several players lined up for the final game, and a basic 4x4 grid with 4 Knightmares per side, but as its taking so long to play through with other, I've decided I'll at least throw in some more detail, so we're not as bored.
