Master White
Yes, I felt like I wanted to be a canadian for once, lol. Anyway, I was wondering how to do multiple animations on one image with gimp? Anyone know how, I'd appreciate it, thanks.
Master White
I'm trying something right now, if it works, I think I understood what you mean, if not, than I'll forget about he project, but thank you for the help, it is handy. LiAM
No problem. Just remember, what you're trying to do is very hard to do. Depending on the length of your animations, the amount of attention will differ. =) Wouldn't it be simpler to leave the animations as two separates anyway? :? Save all that work XD
Master White
this animation is s'pose to represent sparks in a image that isn't suppose to move, so I say I may be confused on what you mean.
LiAM
Ah, you lost me at "isn't supposed to move". XD
Master White
meaning only the sparks around the image are supposed to be animated and the image behind it is supposed to stay un-animated.I think its going to work now, I think I figured it out, preview will be coming shortly, I did it a tiny bit different. LiAM
Well just get the image and then merge the sparks over the un-moving one. It's simpler than two animations anyway...
LiAM
It's really complicated, you would have to merge both animations slides into the same one by combining the two into one. simple enough? Nah, even confused me. well animation 1, and animation 2 =3 yes? kay get 1, and then get 2 get slide 1a, then put 2a next to it (on the same image)same with slide 1b and 2b, and 1c and 2c etc until both have combining layers. Master White
Well, i didn't think to make two animation slides, put them together. have you done it before?
LiAM
I tried but gave up after about 3 merges. Think of it as a scene. Say you want to merge a stickman with another stickman animation. To do that, you would need to put them both in the same .gif image. So just make them both move at the same time so that they appear to work independently but are actually just part of one bigger scene.
