Guest Welche
that Dihydrogen Monoxyde is a threat to uour society and if we don't work against it we will all die. Say anything and I kill you. You know who you are. The one who understands this. On a side note, discuss chemistry.
Eury
The only Monoxide I know is Carbon Monoxide. Pretty much cause my heater emitted large amounts of it. If my house didn't have crappy insulation, I could be dead or something. =/ EDIT: Wait, isn't Dihydrogen Monoxide water or something?

Even after washing, produce remains contaminated by this chemical.as an additive in certain "junk-foods" and other food products.

Dark
Wait, isn't Dihydrogen Monoxide water or something? That's exactly what I thought. 2 H's and 1 O forms H2O. Unless it's chemically bonded in a different orientation. Which I don't think is possible. Then again, chemistry was last year.

Once again dude, its hard too fool people if you go posting this in the thread.
Guest JoshIcy
Isn't the proper name for Water... H₂0₃? Dihydrogen Trioxide?
Dark
No, I did some Google research on it. Apparently it's oriented like H-H-O, which actually defies the laws of chemistry. Go figure. It's a main part of acid raid, it's rarely found in nature, and it's fatal to humans.Isn't the proper name for Water... H₂0₃? Dihydrogen Trioxide? Wut? H2O2 is not water. And dihyd triox is actually H2O3. H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide. Water is technically OH- and H30+, which forms H4O2 (+ and - cancel), and then you can divide both by two to get your H2O. But this thread is about the fatal compound.

The future will cry (when we're able to make substances in our own homes with ease). Also... Ive seen that same chemical burn a students leg in class ._. It isnt called Acid Rain for nothing >_>... And thank god a student shot the water at her leg' date=' it just left a light bleed. But it made a whole in her skirt (near the knee -_-).[/quote'] While dihydrogen monoxide IS part of acid rain, that doesn't mean it holds the same burnings effects as acid rain as a whole. =/
Guest JoshIcy
Forget that... Im not reading right tonight... I was thinking of Hydrochloric Acid.
Dark
Okay, I was about to say... The dilution ratio is crazy. 1 parts of dihydrogen monoxide goes with 140 parts of water. We can't waste our water resources to get rid of this stuff.
