Is this acceptable?

I found out a disturbing fact about my best friend earlier today. He's been trying to lose some weight lately, but last month in particular, he lost 12 kilos which is a wierdly high amount. He told me he did this by throwing up the majority of his meals, and I told him it isn't a good idea, but he continues to do it using "I have no health implications whatsoever" as his logic.

Seeing that he doesn't have any problems with his health, does that make this acceptable?

No.

Because if he continues doing it' date=' he WILL have health problems.

Fair point.

I feel this is a bot. I don't know why.

But it will eventually cause health problems. Just tell him to get over his weight problem' date=' find another method, or go ahead and kill himself.

lol I'm no bot. And he's too lazy to consider any alternatives like exercise. I'm not sure whether I should talk to someone myself or convince him to do it.

The way your post was worded made it sound like a bot. I apologize.

Even I'm lazy, but I still exercise. Try this: find his favorite food and tape it to your back. Go to his house, throw something at him, he'll see what's on your back, and he'll chase you around.

And if you don't think this works, I am living proof. My friend taped a Crunch bar to his back and it improved my mile time by 15 seconds IIRC.

Lol I'll have to tape like 200 to my back to even slightly pique his interest. And he isn't exactly 'fat' either, just self-consious.

That doesn't rule out a health official tasked in going into forums and polling teens and the like of their attitude...but crazy insane suspisions aside...you could simply provide multiple ways he could loose wait without the pains of upchucking...infact you could use the fact that throwing up is painful and realy an irrational root to take for weight loss...if you provide alternatives and he still says no then chances are he wants health issues for some reason...

Depends on his metabolism. If he has a really slow one, he won't be affected.

Take my example, for instance (yet inverted). For 10 days straight, I ate at KFC, WITHOUT cancelling out my other 3 meals and 2 snacks. As a result, you know how much weight I put on? Exactly 1 pound! So, as you can see, my metabolism is so absurdly fast I am immune to obesity.

Maybe that's the inverted situation of this guy's friend, who's metabolism is so slow, it would take a lot of time for him to die of hunger.
