[Yoko Kurama]

[spoiler=Chapter 1, Sub-Chapter 1]

*Taiko's obligation to his Seeker Advisory Committee was slim to none. He didn't give a damn one way or another where they were sending him. He was more preoccupied with what they where sending him to do. As he walked down the slim corridor, he withdrew his tanto. Spinning it recklessly, Taiko proped open the door, and let the knife fly off of his finger. Smack. The blade went right through the back of the tall leather chair in front of him. "Taiko, i see you have arrived as planned." A deep voice spoke, booming echoes followed. "Yeah, where am i going?" Taiko seemed pleased with his tanto's placement, as he examined it. The chair spun around as he grabbed the tanto. "*Rivier Soghrein. It's in the western mountains of *Chuulise." Taiko smirked. He knew where he was going. Grabbing the report file laying on the desk he read aloud,

 

Rivier Soghrein, home to the Chuulisein Mines. Exports mined goods and occasionally an unblessed *A.O.E. Not a common place for tourists. Very rural. Cautionary Advice, Avoid all Druids and Blackwolves.

 

Taiko laughed a hardy laugh. "Druids? Do they have A.O.E's?" The man behind the desk responded bluntly, "Yes, they do. I do not advise you to go alone." As the man finished his sentence, he handed Taiko a small leather pouch. It contained 3 turquoise A.O.E's. They would be necessary if he intended to go alone. As he began to leave, the man spoke once more. "Watch your back kid, 15 year olds in Blackwolf territory is bad news. Jadias won't always save you." Taiko grinned and spoke. "Got it pops." And with that he was gone.

Taiko knew not to get too cocky. He was more intelligent for his age than most people with university degrees. He hadn't heard of Blackwolves before and Druids were a surefire myth, so he had to stay alert and focused. Before leaving town he packed up a few things. He grabbed: His katana and tanto, the A.O.E's, a few snacks, and a map of the Rivier Soghrein. He thought back to what the old man had said, I advise you not to go alone. Taiko wasn't worried, but precautions didn't hurt. He did the only thing he could do, contact another Seeker.

[spoiler=Taiko]

Taiko-

Fifteen year old Seeker. He searches for rare artifacts for whoever assigns him tasks, so long as he is payed in A.E.O's (Ancient Enigma Orbs)

He has no history, the files are stored away so tightly that not even the Prime Minister has access to them. This is the same for all Seekers.

He commonly carries a small katana on his back, and a small tanto at his side. His palms have deep hemi-spherical shaped holes in them. They are used to "Synchronize" his A.E.O's to his line of energy. He has a similar hole at the end of his katana's hilt, and one in the blade on his tanto.

Taiko's energy line is based on the element of Jadias, or the element of frozen fire. Example: His palms or weaponry will glow a light blue, but will be surrounded in a flame. Instead of burning things, the temperature causes a freezing chain reaction. Most commonly the target will break into multiple pieces, but if the target is a human, usually the body part or organ is frozen until the body temp. melts it.

 

[spoiler=Rivier Soghrein and the Land of Chuulise]

Rivier is an old mining city. It is heavily inhabited with Druids, and many Blackwolves. Very few miners still work the mines ther, but it isn't a significant place. Chuulise is the Land in which this story takes place. It is one of 3 countries, but none of them are interested in the other. Nothing in this story will happen off of this land.

 

[spoiler=A.O.E's and The Elemental Energies]

The elemental energies are the different energy lines people can obtain. These energies can be conducted and used through A.E.O's or when skilled enough, the powers can be tapped directly in to. They are commonly used in war, or combat. Most humans under 25 years of age have energies, and some people above that age do aswell, but theirs aren't from birth.

The Elements-

Jadias, The Frozen Fire Element, very uncommonly found by birth.

Gives the power to shatter or freeze things with the appearance of a blue flame. Jadias is the only special element currently known about, yet the amount of A.E.O's for this element are very high.

Others: Fire, Water, Lightning, Earth, Wind. All common.
