έκλειψη
Ritual Spell Card - Cursed Crystal Cavern
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Cursed Crystal Creature - Cryos". You must also Tribute monsters whose total Level equals 8 or more from the field or your hand, and 1 of the Tributed monsters must be an EARTH monster. After activation, this card is treated as a Field Spell Card. As long as this card remains active as a Field Spell Card, all EARTH monsters on the field gain 500 ATK and lose 400 DEF (excluding "Cursed Crystal Creature - Cryos"). Ritual Monster Card - Cursed Crystal Creature - Cryos
This card can only be Ritual Summoned by the Ritual Spell Card "Cursed Crystal Cavern". This card can also be treated as a WATER monster. Once per turn, you must Tribute 1 EARTH monster you control. If you cannot, this card is destroyed. When this card destroys a monster by battle, any Battle Damage inflicted to your opponent is inflicted to you instead. When this card is destroyed (except by its own effect), inflict Damage to your opponent equal to the total Level of the monsters Tributed by this card's effect x200 and gain Life Points equal to the total Level of the monsters Tributed by this card's effect x100. ... Yes, alliteration is fun. I think this is balanced, because you need to fuel it and to inflict damage your opponent needs to take it out. I actually think it may be UP. Rate, anybody?
JIMMYTRON
images are great, of course : PFor Cyros...do you mean it's treated as a WATER Attribute Monster? other than that...ITS A GREAT CARD...insta-luv 9/10 (nothing's perfect) ~Great Job
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
=D! It looks like someone used my Continuous Ritual Concept :3?? Anyways the RS seems fine. Nice little support for your Ritual Monster. D= effect for RM is epic. I love it! It's balance since you take plenty of burn before burning your opponent. Although I suggest having this card must attack. Since you can simple Ritual Summon it and just have it not attack and you keep tributing monsters while you take no damage and then this card is destroyed and BAM!!! Your opponent loses ; . ; But other than that it seems fine. It's wonderful Ritual. 8/
έκλειψη
Thanks! Continous Ritual? Aw, I thought I was being original. T.TAnyways, thanks again! I'll change it to where it must attack. That makes it to where your opponent can let it die by battle (if your opponent controls a stronger monster), or press their luck and let you take more burn by staying in defense Position. έκλειψη
I'd still like to hear it. Making a card yours means making a card better.
♥Łövëły-Ċħän♥
Well thank you :3 But ok: I was thinking you could make it like Panther Warrior. Requiring a Tribute to attack. THAT WAY this will be the situation "Hmmm...I need a tribute to attack which will hurt me? Thats stupid. But oh wait! When this card is destroyed my opponent takes like LOADS of damage when I just take a tiny bit for battle damage and I might not even take battle damage. =O OMG! THIS EFFECT ROCKS!!!" the end :
Wrathos
All I can say is AWESOME. 10/10 Just one question, does the spell go in the field spell zone after it resolves, or does it stay face-up in the spell/trap card zone it was played in? έκλειψη
It should end up in the Field Spell Card Zone... Should that be stated? I mean, it doesn't matter either way if it changes Zones or not, I don't believe.
ragnarok1945
nice, you can just not have it attack at all personally, I'd put some limit on the burn you can do to your opponent. Otherwise, you can just keep tributing and then destroy this card yourself for OTK 8/

-Griffin
Quite drastically UP'd. It misses a lot of the new support and the burn effect is painfully minor. If it was 1000 or more, maybe, but 200 per monster is nothing when I could just activate Mass Driver.Since it's for a 'fic, where situational doesn't matter and the Deck's going to fit what the fic wants, there isn't much point in changing it, but it would definitely need a power boost if you were to use this outside of a 'fic. Ah. So it's just a hugely slower DSF that takes some setup?I suppose that makes it runnable to some extent, but non-destruction removal is becoming more common, which still leaves this as a huge advantage loss. έκλειψη
With DSF banned, perhaps something slower would be fair? Either way, thanks for the critique. : D
